I have always thought that Snape was possibly afraid of flying. That might make it seem strange that he refereed the match, but hey, he is the bravest man Harry ever knew.

Little Harry is adorable, and I really like Hoppity. She is just like one would imagine a younger relative of Dumbledore's (with none of his tragical childhood) to be. Just quirky and eccentric.

The second plane trip was a surprise. At least they were able to get something to eat during the layover between flights. Snape won't be happy about a commuter flight. They can be bumpier than the bigger planes.

Author's Response: Hehe grumpy Snape is so fun to read and write about. To me, he has to be a bit grumpy to be in character. :)

Author's Response: Grumpy Snape was so amusing to write. Thanks for your comments!

Aww this is just gorgeous so far and of course I have to keep reading but I just had to say you did Kathleen's 'helpful' talk about turbulence brilliantly, my nanny did the same to me with the 'up, down, up, down' the first time I went on a plane and I barely managed to escape without doing a Snape ^-^
Love this fic so far ^-^
    have fun x

Author's Response: Awww, thanks so much for your review! :) I'm glad that you managed to escape before you did a "Snape" on the plane. LOL.

I think Motion Sickness!Snape was totally justified. In addition, some folks can be fine with SOME modes of motion, but not others. I can drive and ride rollercoasters, but not boat or fly without queasiness. You're convincing to raise the rating with every chapter.

Author's Response: I'm so glad! Keep reading! :) Thank you for your review.

This is so good. I love how distrustful Snape is of Agent D. I'm surprised that Harry didn't get upset when Hoppity pulled the dragon away from him. Even though she meant well, Harry is used to be taunted and having good things taken away from him by the Dursleys. I feel like he would be slightly distrustful of her after that and would expect Dursleyesque treatment from her afterwards.

P.S. I can't believe you said that Snape might have actually thought Harry falling asleep at his plate would be cute if it wasn't Harry--perhaps Snape has a heart after all!

Author's Response: Good point! I guess that when I was writing this, I thought that Harry was so used to things being taken away from him that he didn't show much of a reaction. Yes, Snape does have a heart, but will Harry get to it? You'll have to keep reading to find out (and I have to keep writing!) Thank you for your reviews! :)

Aw, poor Snape, sufrering from motion sickness. I don't get motion sickness, but I don't like flying so I can sympathize.

I liked his suspicious nature about Agent D, and the mental image of Hoppity exploring the gift shop and worrying about Muggle money.

    Looking forward to more!

    Author's Response: Thank you!

Love the Snape torture! It couldn't happen to a sweeter wizard! LOL! Harry is adorable and Hoppity is very thoughtful!

Eww motion sickness is no fun! Being sick at all is lame, but being sick while flying sucks! I always hate takeoffs and landings whenever I fly somewhere. It just always feels so yucky to me... (maybe like a portkey, lol).

Author's Response: Yeah. : I don't get sick on the plane but the large dips always hurt my head. It's hard to explain... I'm just sensitive to free fall and whenever the plane does it, I react like I'm in pain and I can't help it. Is that what you're talking about too? It'd be interesting if you were, I don't know anyone who reacts the same as me. I can't go on roller coasters for that reason- I went on the tower of terror and I was crying as soon as we started to fall. Never again.

IIRC, you don't like writing Snape. I don't know why, though, because you seem to be pretty good at it. ;-) I liked this chapter--especially the dragon, and Harry's first indications (to Snape and Hoppity) of his neglect by the Dursleys. Sorry, but I'm not going to be able to finish tonight. I need to sleep. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish reading in the morning! :-) FINISH THE CHAPTER! *smiles angelically*

Author's Response: Oh thanks. Snape can be entertaining to write but it's just so annoying to me to watch after all his thoughts and motivations when the things in the scene continue.

Don't you bat your eyelashes and smile at me! :P I was stuck here last night by myself on this stupid chapter. I posted it. I hope you're happy. XP *bop!* :)
