Reviews For Muggleville
Author's Response: Snape is doing rather well with taking care of Harry and having to be in a different place, pretending to be a Muggle.
Looking forward to more hon! Tracy Author's Response: Thank you for all your reviews! Yup, hopefully we wil have a lot more fun with them! Stick with it, hopefully i'll be able to write next week some.
Author's Response: Thank you Invisible Nick! :) I really appreciate your review!
Author's Response: Aw, thank you! :) I will update when I can!
Author's Response: Snape will take Harry to the doctor at some time, but it will be unrelated to Harry's illness and it will take place in a future chapter, not the next one. :) Thanks for the review!
I know that you are incredibly busy as you run this site, a yahoo group and keep your favorites list updated, all of which I greatly enjoy and appreciate. So first let me say thank you for all of that hard work. I also realize that you have to pay some attention to RL. Nevertheless, I hope that you will find the time to continue to update Muggleville. It is an excellent story. I have read and re-read it and I have enjoyed it every time. You have done a good job of developing the relationship between Snape and Harry and of capturing their personalities. I particularly liked the Velveteen Rabbit. That story is beautiful but I think that children sometimes react to it differently from adults. I read the story to my son when he was 3 or 4. At the time his favorite stuffed animal was a rabbit. He slept with it every night and carried it around during the day. He was upset by the story and initially I wasm't sure why. A few days later, he told me that if he ever got sick again, he absolutely did not want his rabbit in his bed or even in his room. He was obviously worried that I would then take the rabbit and burn it and he did not think that the rabbit coming to life would be compensation for its loss to him as a lovey. Harry's reaction reminded me of the incident which I had forgotten. Snape's puzzled response was perfect. I have read the outline that you posted for Muggleville and the outline for the sequel and it sounds great. I really think it will be a shame if you do not complete the story. I don't want to put any pressure on you because as I said, I love this site and I know that running it must take up a great deal of time, but I don't want you to stop updating because you think that no one misses the updates. I miss them and I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way. Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind, and long thought out review. I really appreciated it! :) I didn't know that people were still rereading this thing, and reading my outlines as well! What a surprise! I am hoping to update as soon as I finish the next chapter. I started to reedit the old chapters, I think I got up to chapter 5, and other stories distracted me. I've been feeling a little uninspired with this fic, but your review helped a lot. Thank you! :)
Oh, and are you planning to update? It seems as though it's been a while... Author's Response: Yup, totally blind! I am planning tp update as soon as I write the next chapter. Thanks for the review! :)
Author's Response: I will when I can, sorry about the wait! Thanks for the frogs. :)
Author's Response: Exactly. Harry doesn't want to look into Snape's eyes cause he thinks that he is a mind reader. During lessons, it's different, Harry probably doesn't have a specific thing he wants to hide, and they are working toward clearing Harry's thoughts. Snape isn't probing for information. Harry can throw off the imperious, but he's rubbish at Occlumency. Snape is trying to bridge the two, to make Harry better at Occlumency when he's older. I hope that that answers your questions! Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll update when I can. :) Sorry about the long wait. |
