i'm usually rubbish at leaving reviews.. but i so thoroughly enjoyed this that i had to..

i think its a grear story.. and i found myself really liking Hoppity.. though i do wish she'd stand up to Snape more often..and not let him get away with being so curmudgeonly..

and despite you saying its not going to be a romance.. i could see them as a couple.. an odd couple i admit.. but the very idea causes a face splitting grin whenever i think of it.. Snape cringing every time she says..'hello, i'm Hoppity Snape'..lol

excellent story.. thank you for sharing it..

Author's Response: oh no! LOL! hahaa.. no, I don't think that Hoppity Snape would ever work. Thanks so much! I appreciate your review.

I was thinking of a couple of things that I wanted to ask that I didn't think of when I first reviewed...

I remember that early on in the story, Harry claimed it was his birthday and that Snape and Hoppity had forgotten. Was it really his birthday then or had he misheard?

Also, if it was his birthday, are Severus and Hoppity going to realize? And there can only be about a month left until they all need to be back at Hogwarts if that's the case. Is that all that's left?

I also remembered Severus putting that Healing Balm on Harry and in exchange, being allowed to ask a question. Is that still happening? It was an interesting way for them to get to know eachother.

You probably can't answer this but will Harry struggle to remember his own life when he returns to Hogwarts?

    That's all for know, lol.

    Love the story!!

    Author's Response:

I think that it really was his birthday but neither Snape nor Hoppity knew that. They will find out when they get back to Hogwarts. :)

My itinerary (yes I have one) says that we are at week three. The whole thing ends at the end of Week 6. Harry shouldn't have any problems remembering when he takes the antidote back at Hogwarts.

About the healing balm: I'm having trouble with this because I added it in as a good concept at the last minute, without having any questions for Snape to ask. And now I can't come up with any! What would you have Snape ask?

This is really good! I'm usually very wary of 'deaging' stories because they're usually done so badly, but your is excellent.

The care your taking to make this story realistic is wonderful. It's obvious that you love these characters and your story.

I can't wait for the next installment!

Author's Response: Really? I love deaging stories and I have happened to find several good ones. i'm gald that you like this one though. :) Yes I do try to make it as realistic as possible but it also has an outrageous side to it coming up. :) It will be great. *evil laugh* Thanks for the review!

lols, Harry got tricked into another lesson. Poor Hoppity is ill, and Snape is being Snapeish.

Author's Response: Yup, he sure is. :) Thanks for the review.

Hello, I just discovered your fic and have enjoyed it thoroughly thus far. I don't usually care for "wizards living as muggles" stories--how many times can they be bewildered by things like supermarkets and cars? But you made it interesting. I never get tired of "Snape takes care of ailing Harry" scenes. I suppose Harry and Snape will bond now that Hoppity is laid up? Will Snape catch the bug next? It would serve him right for being so smug and self-righteous about taking his Pepper-Up!

Author's Response: Haha great idea! Unfortunately, that's not planned, but there's always room for one-shots later. Ouu... maybe it has room in the sequel. *ponders* I'm glad you're enjoying the story thus far! :) Thanks for the review!

yeah a new chapter and please don't let us wait so long for the next update please update soon.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review. :) I don't know how long it will take for an update. Getting motivated and excited about the story myself helps a great deal, otherwise everything I write comes out like mush.

You did a very believable job with the interaction in this chapter.  Snape is efficient and even a little kind without going all ooey-gooey.  It's rough being sick when you're six!

Author's Response: Thank you! it sure is, poor Harry!
