OH PLEASE DON'T MAKE US WAIT MONTHS FOR AN UPDATE. I LIKED HOW SNAPE WAS KINDER DURING OCLUMENCY PRACTICE. I DIDN'T LIKE HOW COLD HE WAS TO HARRY DURING THE CUPBOARD EPISODE. PERHAPS SNAPE NEEDS SOME COMPASSION ALSO. I ADORE YOUR STORY AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT POSTING.

Author's Response: Thank you Jen! Sorry for taking so long to update!

I was delighted to see you posted a new chapter!!!!! Yah!!!!! I loved it of course, I really like the fact the Snape is grudgingly almost unwillingly beginning to care for Harry, is there a possible upcoming hug between the two of them? Wonderful chapter, looking forward to the next one!!!

Author's Response: Oh, a hug! Well, I don't know! :) Thank you for your review!

Finally, someone who understood that it was the end of the world when your best friend left you in a cupboard.

Lol! Thank you so much for finally updating. I dunno about the next chapter. I still have a hard time visualizing Harry throwing a fit. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Author's Response: Sorry for taking so long to update! The new chapter is up and hopefully it will be in character and worth it. Thanks for your review!

Wow what a great chapter, I'm glad that Snape is starting to let his guard down a little. Is Harry still feeling out of sorts because he's been really weepy this chapter, or is he starting to feel like this isn't just a temporary family experience? Can't wait for the next one... The Tantrum sounds like our Harry is finally going to express himself !

Author's Response: I think that Harry is finally feeling safe, and like he is loved and cared for. Sorry for taking so long to update! Thanks for your review! I hope that you like the next chapter!

The next chapter sounds interesting and I can't wait for that one, so please update soon.

This was an excellent chapter and I'm going to reread it now.

Author's Response: Thank you, DoA!! I hope that you like the new chapter. Sorry for taking so long to update!

Yay!!! An update. I absolutely love this story, so you can imagine how happy you've made me. I love the fact that Snape found himself feeling a little empathy for Harry. It was a fleeting moment, but it happened all the same. Definitely a step in the right direction.

I wonder why Snape would give Harry a command (hover) that he couldn't possibly obey or realistically refuse to obey. I'm sure there is a reason, I just can't figure it out. Seems like it would have been much better to command him to do something like sit or dance, but I'm sure I'll never understand how Snape's brain works.

Anyway, thanks for the wonderful chapter. I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter. The tantrum? Doesn't bode well for Harry, does it? Take care...

    Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your review!!I am so glad that you like the story! Snape is trying to help Harry realize that he can stop himself from doing commands that make no sense, and that he doesn't want to do. If Snape gave Harry a command he could do, like to sit, well Harry would do it, and it would build the pathways in his head that would reinforce his obedience. However, not being able to do something coul, in theory, reinforce the pathways in his brain to disobey mind magoc. I hope that that made sense.

Sorry for taking so long to update! I hope that you will enjoy the new chapter, if you are still reading.
