Please continue! Author's Response: Thank you! I will try to continue soon!
ha!, would you like to bet on that? *grins like an idiot* thanks for updating so fast!!! Author's Response: You're welcome! :) Yes, Harry can't help but get into trouble.
I was so excited to get another chapter update so soon! And it wasn't even that short at all! Yes, you rock. This was great. I liked how Snape and Harry got up early and had breakfast together. And him being made to take a nap is cute. Though it's too bad he doesn't get his ice cream.... Anyhow, this is great! I'm totally looking forward to the next chapter! :D Author's Response: You'd win that bet! :) Hehe. i just hope that Harry doesn't get lost... Thank you so much for all of your comments!
Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much Angie!! :) Yup - didn't really bothering checking for mistakes. I'm sure that Harry and Hoppity would agree about the ice cream. :)
Author's Response: Yes, it was a big accomplishment for Harry to be able to finally suceed at something. :) I didn't plan it, that's just the wyay it came out, and it surprised me. Thanks for your comments!
Author's Response: Thank you! I think that they will have fun, but not too much trouble. :)
And bubble and squeak sounds awful. But the interaction between Snape and Harry was great and I enjoyed it. Author's Response: Thanks, I actually looked that up in the dictionary to make sure that I was getting the right spelling, but I guess it didn't transfer right through my brain at 2:30 AM. Bubble and squeek is actually supposed to be quite good. It's a breakfast staple. Thanks for your review.
Author's Response: I bet he would! Haha! thank you for your comments. :)
Author's Response: Thank you!
I really loved that interaction between Snape and Harry. That was too cute. I love how they negotiated and Snape softened up a bit, without losing any of his authority or leverage. That was really sweet. Great chapter Jan, I can't wait for the next. Oh, and I loved the last line. How much trouble could one small, messy-haired boy get into? This is Harry Potter, we're talking about. You know it's strange but I don't usually like a de-aged Harry, and yours is one of the few I read, but I'm really enjoying this story. I can't wait till he goes back to normal though, and I hope that he can still be cared for by Snape and Hoppity. I think that they balance each other out and give Harry what he needs. Okay, so I'm rambling. It's early in the morning and I'm getting ready for work. So, please update soon. I'm dying to see the "block" party! Hee hee! Author's Response: Thank you Pandora! I have to agree with what you said - that the story flows better if you don't have to wait as long to read it. I think that an update every other day, or couple of days works best, but unfortunately I am not that fast of a writer. :) I think that not obsessing about the chapter and worrying about errors was slowing me down, as well as making the chapters so long. I would write half of it and then put it away for awhile (sometimes a long while) when just posting that I had was long enough to be a shorter chapter, even though there wasn't a natural end to it. And then I would look, and look at it when in actuality, I don't make that many errors to make it unreadable. So I'm just going to keep trucking along. I'm glad that you like my deaged Harry. I think that it is very difficult to keep both Harry and Snape in character in this genre of story. Don't worry, Harry will be able to go to both Snape and Hoppity once he is reaged. Spending a summer with people just makes you close to them, and they don't really have a choice. :) |
