I've noticed that it has been a while since the last update, and I really, really want to know what happened next. I was kind of hoping that Harry would have to go to the doctor due to the hight fever, make Snape suffer. *laughs* They seem to be slowly getting along. Let us hope that continues. It truly is a good story. Original plot line as well. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Snape will take Harry to the doctor at some time, but it will be unrelated to Harry's illness and it will take place in a future chapter, not the next one. :) Thanks for the review!

    Jan AQ,

I know that you are incredibly busy as you run this site, a yahoo group and keep your favorites list updated, all of which I greatly enjoy and appreciate. So first let me say thank you for all of that hard work. I also realize that you have to pay some attention to RL. Nevertheless, I hope that you will find the time to continue to update Muggleville. It is an excellent story. I have read and re-read it and I have enjoyed it every time. You have done a good job of developing the relationship between Snape and Harry and of capturing their personalities. I particularly liked the Velveteen Rabbit. That story is beautiful but I think that children sometimes react to it differently from adults. I read the story to my son when he was 3 or 4. At the time his favorite stuffed animal was a rabbit. He slept with it every night and carried it around during the day. He was upset by the story and initially I wasm't sure why. A few days later, he told me that if he ever got sick again, he absolutely did not want his rabbit in his bed or even in his room. He was obviously worried that I would then take the rabbit and burn it and he did not think that the rabbit coming to life would be compensation for its loss to him as a lovey. Harry's reaction reminded me of the incident which I had forgotten. Snape's puzzled response was perfect. I have read the outline that you posted for Muggleville and the outline for the sequel and it sounds great. I really think it will be a shame if you do not complete the story. I don't want to put any pressure on you because as I said, I love this site and I know that running it must take up a great deal of time, but I don't want you to stop updating because you think that no one misses the updates. I miss them and I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind, and long thought out review. I really appreciated it! :) I didn't know that people were still rereading this thing, and reading my outlines as well! What a surprise! I am hoping to update as soon as I finish the next chapter. I started to reedit the old chapters, I think I got up to chapter 5, and other stories distracted me. I've been feeling a little uninspired with this fic, but your review helped a lot. Thank you! :)

I really liked this story! Snape finally having some compassion on the little guy! Aww...You'd think that he'd be less hostile to Harry after seeing other, loud muggle children...but I suppose he's just blind with his prejudice...
Oh, and are you planning to update? It seems as though it's been a while...

Author's Response: Yup, totally blind! I am planning tp update as soon as I write the next chapter. Thanks for the review! :)

Good story! But back there in one of the earlier chapters you said Harry wouldn't look into Snape's eyes because he thought Snape was a mind reader. Well isn't Harry being taught to meditate for occlumency which is for blocking legilimency? He should automatically kinda know Snape can read minds since he knows Snape knows Legilimency. I don't understand what's going on with the imperius curse lesson exactly. Why does Snape wanna make sure to always give commands that are impossible to follow?

    Author's Response:

Exactly. Harry doesn't want to look into Snape's eyes cause he thinks that he is a mind reader. During lessons, it's different, Harry probably doesn't have a specific thing he wants to hide, and they are working toward clearing Harry's thoughts. Snape isn't probing for information.

Harry can throw off the imperious, but he's rubbish at Occlumency. Snape is trying to bridge the two, to make Harry better at Occlumency when he's older. I hope that that answers your questions! Thanks for the review!

i'm usually rubbish at leaving reviews.. but i so thoroughly enjoyed this that i had to..

i think its a grear story.. and i found myself really liking Hoppity.. though i do wish she'd stand up to Snape more often..and not let him get away with being so curmudgeonly..

and despite you saying its not going to be a romance.. i could see them as a couple.. an odd couple i admit.. but the very idea causes a face splitting grin whenever i think of it.. Snape cringing every time she says..'hello, i'm Hoppity Snape'..lol

excellent story.. thank you for sharing it..

Author's Response: oh no! LOL! hahaa.. no, I don't think that Hoppity Snape would ever work. Thanks so much! I appreciate your review.

Aah, Snape is quite petty in this one isn't he. Especially when Harry's self esteem is so low he doesn't think he deserves a biscuit. But he was a little worried so there's a heart in there somewhere.

I say you should stick to Modest Mouse, but maybe you could listen to the Good News... album next time. A little more upbeat. Death to candy pop!

I was wondering why Harry hasn't really thought about the death of Sirius since he was at Hogwarts. Has he forgotten about the whole deal or moved on already?

Please update soon, I can't wait for the next one (which is why I'm rereading!)

Author's Response: Modest mouse rocks. I don't know why Harry isn't wondering.. I can't really remember the beginning of the storyright now. I'll have to review it. XD Thanks for your feedback!
