This entire fanfiction is so wonderfully written. The way in which you compare and describe the moments is inspiring and I thoroughly enjoyed reading everything, even though sections were not made to be entertaining but rather thoughtful, serious and full of pained comtemplation.
I believe that given the situations, everyone (Severus especially) is very in character. The cherry box was intriguing and the journal is even more so.
I long for more and anxiously but eagerly await each coming chapter. I really want to know more about what Harry wrote in that journal and also...is he still alive?
If so, where has he been all this time? I assume the "point me, Harry Potter" won't work, but what about Aiden Snape?
You've done and surely will contnue to), do a great job with this fic and I desperately hope you shall be updating again soon!!

The description of the story implies that Harry is still alive. But... eek! angst! You mention that you have every intention of updating your WIPs, but it looks like this one hasn't been updated since 2006. Does that still apply?
Oh I love this. So much. You write so beautifully and emotionally and everything is poignant and perfect. I love the way you're weaving this story slowly but surely and the way you dont underestimate or overestimate the reader's intelligence - not many people manage to find that balance so well as you have. The way you've shown the natural progression of Snape's emotions in the way he would surely feel them is gorgeous and such a pleasure to read and I cannot wait for where I have an inkling this story is headed.
I'll be waiting for whenever you update - probably on the edge of my seat where you've left me - thank you for the beautiful fic ^-^
