I do think that Severus wandered slightly OOC...but I also think it was completely believeable wandering. :) I don't think I have commented on your story before, but I look forward to it updating. I am really enjoying it a lot!

Oh this story just tugs at the heartstrings, especially the one step forward, two steps back approach Snape takes. I don't think he's OOC considering the circumstances, just worn down until he's more than a little raw.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!! Absolutely, completely, utterly loved it! ^_^ Severus wasn't too sappy at all - indeed, a lesser writer writer would've made him twice as sentimental/sappy/what-have-you by the 4th or 5th chapter. I think you're doing unbelievably well, with the characterization and the story in general, and this chapter is quite possibly my very favorite. Amazing job!
