What an interesting concept for a story! Very original
Well, well, Vernon was really stupid. I hope harry gets away from them though, before something else goes wrong, since it's plain his uncle won't pay to have him ransomed.

Great start! Sounds like some real meanies have Petunia, Dudley, and Harry. I have to admit, I find it hard to picture Vernon parting with money just to get Harry returned, but I hope they'll be all right!
Author's Response: I too find it hard to believe Vernon would ever pay to get his nephew. But he isn't giving the money back in exchange for Harry, he just wants his wife and son back.
Good job on capturing the characters. You have a very interesting plot going on and I will enjoy reading this story. Thank you for taking the time to write it.

Definately a unique take! I don't think I've ever read something with a storyline like this before. It's hard to find Harry/Snape stories with new ideas. Very creative!

This is a good start. I had a funny thought, Vernon writing the "men" back saying he'd send 2/3s of the money back for Petunia and Dudley... but that they could keep the freak. He almost seems stupid/selfish enought to do it... don't you think?
