Poor Harry! My heart just breaks for him here. Vernon Dursley is such a monster. I really hope he'll get what's coming to him before the story is over.

It's a good thing Severus was able to get Harry out of there, and that Madame Pomfrey was able to care for him so well. Hopefully, Harry will feel completely better soon.

It was sweet to see how happy Harry was about decorating his room, and Severus was quite nice, letting him pick the colors out and planning to have carpet in all the rooms.

    Author's Response:

Thanks for the review! I really love hearing what people think!

Ouch. Poor Harry that must have hurt. Good thing Severus saved the day. Isn't that cute he's already warming up to Harry and doesn't mind his colour choices. Love the story so far.

Author's Response: Poor Snape cane resist the charms of an innocent abused little boy, even if it's the son of his enemy. :)

I'd say finding Harry in that condition removed any lingering doubts Severus may have had as to how the boy was being treated by his relatives. That and Harry's response to him when he'd been startled was that of a child who had been abused for years.

Although Snape may "hate" children, I don't think Dumbledore had to work too hard to convince him to take care of this poor little guy!

Now, sadly, much as I'd like to stay up all night and read the rest of this story, I MUST go to bed! You've kept me up long enough! LOL!

    Great story hon!
    Tracy

    Author's Response:

Severus will learn to love all children when pigs fly and for now, Harry will be the only exception.

I forgot.... In the magical world pigs probably could fly....?

Aw T_T they hurt him... so sad T_T. At least he's with Snape now. Oh and Dumbledore's comment, "are you related to Sybil" too funny lol.

    Author's Response:

He is indeed with Snape and they'll be happy together. Thanks so much for continuously reviewing!

Wow, from the beginnings this definitely has the potential to become one of the legends! I like the way you have Snape trying to be gentle, and poor little Harry would be grateful enough for a home to take Snape just the way he is. Looking forward to another wonderful chapter

    Author's Response:

It's hard for Snape to be gentle because of who he is and I try to keep him in character as much as possible. I'm glad you like it and thanks so much for the review!
