Wouldn't Severus have felt the throbbing of the dark mark rather than having to unravel the bandage? "Multiple times of coming to consciousness in situations which were less than optimal had taught him not to make big movements or otherwise alert others to the fact that he was awake" I love this line, it both sad and funny that this is the first thing Harry thinks because it would be strange for any other child ever to think this but it's almost normal for Harry.
Hmm, he's learned quite the defence, eh? Hehehe, oh and the bit about Remus being a pet dog was cute. I wanted to scratch his ears.
Ok, talk about nail-biting tension here! I'm so glad that Severus was able to force himself awake, and that Remus was able to hold off his change and let him know where Harry is. So at least Severus knows Harry needs help and is on his way.
I'm so proud of Harry, too! He's managing not to fall apart, but to take stock of the situation. That shows a lot of fortitude and courage. I hope he's able to get Voldemort out of Dumbledore, though! This could be very tricky.
Now I'm off the read the next chapter!

I got the notification two times. I am really loving this story and I can't wait to read the sequel. I may wait until the remaining chapters are posted before I read again though, the suspense is killing me.

Harry's idea is fantastic! I can't wait to see this one work. Thanks for posting again, I didn't get the message that 38 was ready. I'm so happy to have two at once!
ahhh that was awesome. Totally need an update so we're not going crazy from the cliffe. Can't wait to find out what happened to Voldemort/Dumbledore and what Severus is going to do to the headmaster once he finds out. Keep up the awesome work and please please update again really soon. LES
Lol, well it is kind of fun. I'm glad people are actually doing something now, instead of just laying unconscious in bed and about the be stunned. This is a much better cliffhanger than that.
I really don't enjoy Lucius at all, with him being around Harry and all. For some reason he seems creepier than Voldemort. I guess old Voldie is just a crazy loon after all.
I can't believe that Remus managed to 'hold off' his change. How exactly is that possible? It must be painful anyway, to resist that for so long. I liked how Severus's calmness just prior to the change unnerved Remus, that made me smile.
Anyway, looking forward to the next part and probably some more action! All the best!

Great Chapter! I really liked how Harry's fighting back, yeah!! "Harry met his gaze and smiled." I can picture it too!
And Severus, it's great to see that he has formed such a bond with Harry and is concerned for his safety. I hope that you'll tell us how Dumbledore/Voldemort poisoned his mind so, and how Severus was able to break away from it. Because it seems that Dumbledore/Voldemort didn't expect him to wake up.
I hope that Harry was just beat up with some spells, and that he's going to be ok after this. Also, I hope he has to get himself out of this predicament alone. It would be too easy if he is able to break the bonds between Voldemort and Dumbledore and Dumbledor leaps valiently to Harry's rescue. I really want to see Harry defend himself against Malfoy too!
