Reviews For Walk the Shadows
I can't wait for the sequel. Well, I guess I can wait, but it will definitely be an impatient wait (lol). Thanks so much for sharing... Author's Response: Hi curlybean, Thanks for the review! You're right; Harry is too forgiving, but it's his nature, and Draco isn't his father . . . he will be a significant character in the sequel, though, so we'll get to see more of his non-Luciusness in play. I should have the first chapter to the sequel out in a week or two.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad I finished it, as it's definitely been the hardest of my stories to write.
Author's Response: Cool, thanks! I actually had to reread the whole thing recently, because I was sure I'd forgotten some threads somewhere that needed to be tied off . . .
This was a fantastic story and I've really really enjoyed it (well, not the torture so much!) and I'm very much looking forward to seeing how Harry gets along this year - I love the solution Severus has come up with for Harry, and I'm wondering how long Harry will be needing to use it for, and if he can ever get back to attending classes as usual!! Thank you again for sharing this great story with us!! Scarlett Author's Response: Hi Scarlett, Thanks for the review! Many of your questions (okay, all of them) will be answered in the sequel, which will prominently figure Draco, in all his, uh, glory, and the further ramifications of Snape's leaving the DEs, as well as more healing for Harry, and how he deals with his friends now. I should have the first chapter to the sequel out in a week or two, though I'm still in search of a title . . . :-)
Author's Response: Hi Alexis, Thanks for the review! Draco (and the ramifications of his choices in response to his father's actions) will figure prominently in the sequel. And so will the responses of the other DE children to Snape's perceived defection. There are trying times ahead!
Draco sure came to the right realization... and it took for a while, lol. I'm surprised Harry thanked him so quickly, but I like it. Shows how quick he is to be grateful, or at least pretend like he is, whichever it turns out to be, lol. Though, I will undoubtably be sad that this particular era has come to an end, I cannot WAIT for the sequel :D Author's Response: Hi Caramello, Thanks for the review! I, too, am amazed I finished this one . . . it was definitely the hardest of my stories to tackle. You're right; Harry did thank Draco awfully quickly . . . but then, as has been pointed out, he is generally very quick to forgive, and he doesn't hold a grudge like some Snapes I might mention. ;-) I should have the first chapter to the sequel out in a week or two, so no worries.
Author's Response: Hi Polaris, Thank you for the review! Draco will have a significant role in the sequel, as he comes to better understand harry, and his Head of House, and there is plenty more healing in store for Harry. I should have the sequel started in a week or two. Thanks again!
