That was beautiful. And completetly appropriate. I had wondered what would be done with Snape after the battle, if someone would go to collect him. It seems fitting somehow that the someone would be Harry. Your piece was incredibly poignant, and managed to assure me that, despite my refusals to the contrary, the series is over, and Severus Snape died. Thank you for sharing. Yours, Prince Edwin

I cant stop the flow of tears since I finished the book and this story is making my eyes leak ;) Well written story, totally love it.

i would take the familiar route of one my the most brilliant writing mentors i've known when he was impressed, and curse.
seeing as that goes against both my morals as a writer and probably sounds offensive to someone who does not know said writing professor, i shall instead gape and tip my hat down to you.
*gapes and tips hat down to you*
lovely work! it made me start thinking about tdh, and that line about snape's bravery in the epilogue...i seriously sat there and read that line over and over and over again, just to feel the warm and fuzzy feeling that i got.
finally, he was appreciated by harry, you know! and this sounds exactly like something that could have happened, in those nineteen years between the last chapter and the epilogue...fantastic.
the epitaph, i think, was my favorite part. well-chosen.
