I liked the perspective from Snape's point of view. Unfortunately, I almost skipped the chapter (and in fact had moved to another story) before remembering from your end note that the chapter would be the same scene from Snape's point of view. Some hint near the beginning of the chapter may have eliminated the need for the endnote and prevented the misunderstanding of thinking you had re-entered the previous chapter. Well written and insightful, I'm glad I returned to this chapter.
I want a creamsicle now. Well, no... a fudgcicle. But anything would do really. Lol.
I agree with both of you - I don't think it's too early, considering the amount of interaction the two have had. I do have to say, that I'm glad he's having Harry serve his detention in the infirmary as opposed to doing something else - since he clearly doesn't want to go (and who could blame him?), in Severus's eyes it would be the perfect punishment, and at the same time they'll discover more things about him.
Now I seriously cannot wait for the next few chapters. I'm ready to drop onto my knees and beg you to keep up with your frequent updating. I have been looking forward to what happens in this next chapter, since the whole speculation of his abuse came up.

I think it's perfect timing for Snape to find out that Harry has troubles. I like how you make it necessary for the home visits, how the Dursley's ignore the owl, and how Poppy acts both in insisting on receiving permission and the fact that she needs permission. All very good details to add to the story.
I'm glad Snape noticed that something really is wrong with Harry, and is going to do something about it.
Excellent chapter. I love the changing POV in this story. A lot of stories have that, but often in a confusing way that makes the story hard to follow. It's always nice to see something done correctly. :-)

Wonderful chapter, interesting developments.
More than one way to skin a kneazle!
I love little things like that transferred over to the wizarding world, they always make me laugh.
I'm glad Severus is finding out now, I don't think it's too soon at all. Thanks for another great chapter!
I like how you mentioned Harry's attempt at neutralizing his expression and the fact that Snape noticed it. It seemed to connect the two, because Snape is notorious for the indifferent "mask" he wears. I can't decide which perspective I enjoy reading more...I love them both. lol. And I love that you shift this steadily.
Actually, I think you're doing a great job with Snape's subtle concern for Harry. I'm anxious to see what goes on in the next chapter. It doesn't seem like the abuse is severe, but I hope that Severus takes action anyhow.
I'm so glad you updated this so quickly. I'm house-sitting and have been sitting at he computer for a while, bored, basically refreshing the P&S site, hoping for an update (preferably one of your three stories) :) This was really a great chapter!
Poor Harry, his life really sucks.
I can't wait for Snape's POV... those are always so much fun to read after Harry's version of events!
How absolutely humiliating! And to think Hogwarts is supposed to be his refuge! I would start bawling on the way back to the dorms. End of story. I would wonder what the heck I'd gotten myself into and when I could go back to my miserable life with the Dursleys. How so very sad for Harry. *Sniff*
Darn that Snape. He'll be soooo ashamed of himself in time! And I'll be happy when he finally realizes how badly Harry needs help and care. Oh, but I do love this Sevitus/Severitus world. Lol.
