I really liked this story. It's great to see Harry post-Voldemort, and how he can finally relax and enjoy his life and his friends.
I liked Harry thinking how hanging out was such a "teenage" thing to do, because he's in an odd position here. He is quite young, still a teenager himself, but he's accomplished his life's goal so to speak. He's been through so much and has had to grow up fast, so he's very mature for his age.
That maturity will help him to adjust, too. He certainly deserves some time off, and I wouldn't blame him one bit for taking things easy for a while. But I have no doubts that Harry will soon set some new goals for himself, and get on with the business of living. He has everything to live for now.
I can definitely see Harry settling in Hogsmeade. As you said, it's purely part of the Wizarding World, and Harry would revel in that. Also, it's close to Hogwarts and it's part of Harry past.
Harry choosing the green paint was a nice compliment to Snape (as well as Lily of course), and I would love to see you write more!
Author's Response: Your review made me smile, so thank you, first of all.
I'm glad you noticed and love some of the small little details; I tend to pay special attention to those in fanfics, because each character has small little details that make them who they are and it's both fun and challenging to write. I'm with you on Harry's maturity; he is still quite young, but he's been forced to grow up because of all he's gone through. And Harry does seem like the type of person who would love living in the Wizarding World; after being cut off for the first eleven years of his life, and then every summer.
Thanks again for the review, it brought a smile to my face after a long day; something which was sorely needed.
