I like the gradual change in Snape. He is turning into a real believable person. As well it is nice to see a smart Harry. On that note, I hope you don't keep to JKR books (which have been done to death) but use your own scenarios for the rest of Hogwart years now that you have establish a plot.
Author's Response: Thank you, I try to build on their characters gradually to keep it less abrupt. I can't exactly tell you everything that I have plotted... but suffice it to say that it's a mixture of some of the canon events and some things that I've dreamt up myself. Can't say too much or I'll give something away, though! ;)
This is seriously excellent so far. I'm really looking forward to reading more, so please, please, please updated soon.

Awww! A smiling Severus Snape...this is an amazing fanfic!! You should be really happy at how well you brought The Deathly Hollows into the story and kept the characters properly characterized. This is truly brilliant and I can't wait until the next chapter or for when Snape and Harry return to Hogwarts. I hope though, that Snape dosen't become mushy over his charge and Harry dosen't become a wuss. It's been known to happen and I hope you stick to your excellently established characterization and continue on thus. Really looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Mm, no signs of that in my current plottage for future chaps. I try to look through their eyes and figure out their points of view before I write, I think that helps me to keep them from staying too far from what would be logical for their characters to think or do. And thank you so much, 'amazing' is a really glowing description. :D
