Reviews For Harry Potter and the Potions Professor
Looking forward to the next chapter - interaction between Severus and Harry! Greetings :-) teddy
Author's Response: Thank you! Yep, Severus and Harry are about to spend lots more time together...good thing they're getting along better. I'm not sure about the little girl. I originally hadn't planned for her to do much, but we may see some more of her after all. I have been known to change my mind about my plans. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll try to update soon, but I do have a family and a part-time job, so sometimes I just don't have as much writing time as I'd like.
I liked how worried Severus was because of course, I can't resist some emotion from Snape. I really hope Harry's okay though. You've got some very intriguing things happening here. I really enjoy your plot. Will Harry wake up next chapter because I can't wait to see how Sev reacts now to him. Oh, and I really loved the part where Severus is all defensive when he puts Harry in his room. LOL That was great! Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, because I have to admit that it was one of those chapters that I felt was necessary to advance the plot, but it didn't get me all excited about writing. Oh, well, I suppose Severus and Harry can't just cuddle all the time, hmm? Yes, Harry will be all right, and I'm plannng on him to wake up in the next chapter. I'm not sure how much differently Severus will be around him---they've already become pretty close and Severus is more open with Harry than anyone else. But there's still some things building up between them. I do want to have them really confront Severus' past treatment of Harry, so maybe portions of "Potion-itis" will be featured soon, though I'll have to do some editing to make it fit better, and Christmas is coming, too. I wonder what kind of Christmas surprise Severus can come up with for Harry? Glad you liked the bit with Severus being a bit defensive. One of my main purposes in having Harry be hurt again (well, there are a couple of purposes really, but this is one of them) was to contrast Severus' attitude now with when Harry was hurt in the beginning. It made Severus' skin crawl to have the 'Potter brat' in his rooms then, and he simply could not understand why the Weasleys and Hermione would waste time sitting with Harry and talking to him while he was unconscious. Now...well, you can see how much things have changed. Thanks again!
I can't wait to see what happens with this Elizabeth Stone, I although, have a feeling that she was under the Imperious Curse...I remember something about her eyes..hmm. Well, I trust Dumbledore will get it all sorted out. Hopefully Harry will wake up soon! Because I seriously can not wait for the next chapter, please don't make us wait long! Author's Response: Thank you! Severus is pretty open with his emotions here, but I think it's because of several things happening. First, he was already moved by the conversation with Dumbledore when D. first came in and thanked him for the elixir. Then the whole thing with Harry being cursed again was so sudden and unexpected, and so scary, that he was really rattled. Also, I'd like to think that Severus is beginning to realize that he needs to change, that his way of dealing with people isn't good for him or anybody else, and that he's just getting to the point where he realizes it's possible for him to change, if he has the courage to, that is. Right now, I'm not sure how big a role Elizabeth Stone will play, but she may well become a minor recurring character... we'll see. And ooh, you noticed about her eyes being glassy, I wondered if anyone would! I know in your profile you said youi only read fics, but you really should think about writing, too. I think you have a good grasp on the characters and their feelings and motivations.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, poor Severus, Harry being cursed again really shook him up.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! And for reviewing "Recovery", too! I'm so glad you liked it. "Recovery" was a lot of fun to write. Hmm, now chocolate makes a great incentive to write! I'll try to update asap.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yep, this was one of those 'filler chapters'. I didn't enjoy writing it quite as much, but I did try to lay the groundwork for some upcoming events. Yeah, Severus is just improving tremendously, isn't he? I'll give Harry all the credit. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Well, I won't tell Severus he did anything 'sweet' if you don't. He'd either have an apolexy, or fire off some nasty hexes at us. But I wanted to show him beginning to make a little progress with Ron and Hermione as well. Thanks again! |
