Reviews For Harry Potter and the Potions Professor
Oh, so sweet, I'm crying AGAIN! I love it, thank you! Author's Response: Thank you! That scene is one of my favorites, too!
I love how Harry got Snape to eat cake, and how Snape ran his finger thru Harry's hair and comforted him, and how Harry almost cried when everyone came in with the cake. So sweet! I love it! Now I'm off to read more, this is so awesome! -Elise Author's Response: Thanks, Elise!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! P&S is an awesome site, isn't it? I'm really happy you liked it!
Author's Response: Oh, you're good! That's exactly what I was trying to show. Severus will struggle the next few weeks over his past actions and the fear of losing the child he's come to love. Thank you!
I just loved, loved the conversation and freak out with Harry. That was great, the whole build up and the fit. And how Sev consoled him and was so gentle with him. I really like your Snape a lot. I like that he stayed with Harry and assured him he'd be there for him. It was very well done and very heart-warming and angsty all wrapped into a nice bundle. i liked the bit at the end especially that Sev is the one plagued with nightmares. Poor man... Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yes, it was hard for Hermione, and I felt badly for her, but it seemed like something the Death Eaters would do..killing the neighbors when they couldn't get to her parents...a petty but unbelievably cruel thing to do. I'm so glad you liked Harry's meltdown and Sev's reaction to it. I do think it was necessary for Harry to let his anger, fear, and grief out before he could truly begin to heal. Now, things can start to get better for him. And yeah, Sev's come a long way, hasn't he? It's such fun to write softie Sev. And yeah, while Harry's troubles are getting better, now Severus is the one who'll be struggling to come to terms with past events and what they might mean for the future.
Thanks again, and GREAT JOB!! Nightshade Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, my son is feeling much better now. Thank heavens for modern medicine! About Umbridge, well, Sev will find out about her eventually, but not yet. I'm not entirely happy with how I have put it off...it doesn't seem believable even to me that Severus wouldn't have noticed Harry's scarred hand yet. He is very observant, and they've become so close. But I didn't want to put that scene too close to him finding out all about the Dursleys, and now Harry dealing with Sirius' death and his own capture and torture...too much angst too close together, you know. But it will happen sooner or later!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, Harry really did need to vent, and it'll do him a lot of good. I think his nightmares will start to get better now. If only I could say the same for Severus...
Author's Response: Thank you! I really appreciate your comments! Yes, Severus does love Harry, very much, and vice versa. It'll still be a while, though, before the actual words get said aloud, but I do have that scene planned out already.
Sorry for writing that over and over again i just LOVE the story and i'm always looking forward to reading the next chapter. Again , FANTASTIC JOB!!! P.S. I'm appologising ahead of time, i most likely will say 'please write soon' again at some point. I'll try not to nag. Great work on Slave child too. You've got talent. THANKS FOR READING! Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm about halfway through chapter 26 right now. My 11 year old has been sick with the flu the past couple days, so I haven't had as much time for writing. I hope to get it finished this weekend, though. I'm so happy you're enjoying my stories!
It's good to see that Ron and Hermione trust Severus enough to ask for help. Great chapter! Author's Response: Thank you! And yes, the primary purpose here was to build trust between Severus and the other Trio members. |
