Reviews For A Shocking Discovery
I hope you dont make Ron turn out to be a prick cuz that would really kill! i really hate stories that make ron out to be the bad guy and suddenly out of now where harry and draco are best friends, i mean get real! anyways great chapter i love this story for sooo many reasons! I have recently put up a halloween challenge and personally invite you to part take in it, if you have the time! thanks and update ASAP! I mean it...!!! Missy Eye Author's Response: I am trying to update as I am writing this response. But my muses are a little out of sync. at the moment I am afraid. So much so, that I do not think they would stretch to me trying to come up with a scenario for a third story at this time, so I think, for the moment at least, that I will have to pass on the challenge. I am sorry, and I do thank you for the personal invitation. Oh, BTW, I too hate stories where Ron turns out to be the bad guy and Draco takes his place. I loathe them with a passion, actually. I mean, AS IF! Ron is a hot head, but he is Harry's best mate and though he might blow, he always settles down and apologises. So don't worry on that score. ~LesleY~
Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I am glad that you are enjoying the story. ~LesleY~

one typo, I think - where you said "If everyone's horrified gaze had not been focused upon Harry instead of him, all of their mouths would have fallen open in fresh horror" - I think this shouuld be "focused on himself instead of Harry", it doesn't make sense the way you have it. keep on writing, this is a good fic! Author's Response: Thank you for that. You were right. I have rectified the mistake. Glad you enjoyed the chapter. LesleY~
I've never been a fan of stories where Snape's Harry's dad because I don't like the idea of S/L but I love how you made a totally original plot that keeps everyone happy! Keep up the awesome writing Author's Response: Thank you. I am glad that I could come up with something that you are happy to read. I don't have a problem with Severus and Lily as a couple per se, but I hate the idea of JAmes not being part of the equation at all, and I hate stories where JAmes is a rotten adulterer and Lily goes to Sev for comfort, or where Lily is just a trollop and cheats with Sev anyway. Hence, this scenario, where nobody is a bad guy. ~LesleY~
Author's Response: Yes, there are definitely pros and cons for both sides of the argument. And no solution is going to be 100% right. Severus' worries are very real, but so is the fact that Harry is incapable of dissimulation. And Ron may certainly be the spanner in the works, but Harry has ti pretty right when he says he is not exactly sure about how Ron will react in the beginning, but he is right when he says Ron won't turn away from him in the long term...and you are right, if the whole family is there to convince Ron before school starts, then he will have to come around. I am not sure that Ron feels he has one up on HArry by virtue of the fact that he has a family...we have seen often in canon that Ron has issues with his family at times, as most teens do. Ron isn't the slightest bit jealous of the fuss his mother in particular makes of Harry...he doesn't mind sharing because he is confident in his family's love. Thank you for your review. ~LesleY~
I hope at least that he relents and lets Harry tell the Weasleys! Please update soon; can't wait to see if and when they announce their relationship to the Weasleys. Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you for taking the time to let me know. ~Lesley~
Author's Response: I did have a lovely holiday, thank you. Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Muggle will still be about a week away I am afraid. ~LesleY~ |
