I really enjoyed this chapter. You write Minerva very well. Looking forward to the next one!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review, I am so happy you liked it! And sorry for not updating sooner, but I was so busy in the last months that I could not write anything decent until a few days ago. I hope you'll like the new chapter!

Ah I am always so psyched when you update this fic - it's one of my favorites. This chapter did not disappoint! I have a feeling Severus will need Minerva's support... I am really looking forward to the snape/harry interaction in the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you for your support! And sorry for letting you wait for so long. I've been so busy at work that I'd really have needed the whole Hogwart's staff to help me sort out the mess. But now I am back on track and I'll hopefully be able to update regularly!

Wonderful story! Your characterizations have been quite good so far, and I can't wait to see how Harry and Severus manage to work out their differences. I also imagine Snape will be livid at the Dursley's, once he actually has time to breathe and who treated Harry like that truly sinks in...I admit I'm looking forward to that--especially if he actually goes and visits the Dursley's himself! Keep it up, and please update soon!! (And as far as British English or American English...though I am American, I've read enough fics written by British authors that British spellings, and most of their sayings, don't bother me any more--in fact, most of the time now I hardly even notice! So I certainly won't be bothered either way).

    Author's Response:

Thank you for your so kind review ^_^

I am sorry I could not post the new chapter sooner and I hope it's not disappointing!

Fantastic story. Love the inner dialogue that both Snape and Harry had. Looking forward to more.

Regarding using British spelling vs American. I was taught the British form but understand the American also. Both are fine with me. Do whatever your comfortable with.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind review! I am working on next chapter right now!

Poor Harry was quite confused and Snape didn't really know what he could do to help either. Great chapter and please update again soon!

    Author's Response:

Thank! I think Severus and Harry are both more than confused ^_^ They have to learn and understand each other, as difficult as it may seem :)

I am writing next chapter now and I hope to post it soon!

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I am working on next chapter right now and - if I am not too busy with work - I hope I'll be able to update soon ^_^

grrreat chapter! yea, stick to the british, it's set in the UK after all! here in canada we use both sets of spellings interchangeably, so you won't catch me picking on you for that ;-)

I am so enjoying this fiction - thank you for updating - and I can hardly wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks for your understanding and for your review! I am working hard to post next chapter as soon as possible!

Good story so far. As to the whole British vs. American English issue, I can't imagine why this has become a problem for you. Either spelling system is correct and everyone on both sides of the pond should know that. But be certain that you are consistent. Don't stick to British spelling "as much as possible". Stick to it, period. That should eliminate any complaints.

    Author's Response:

    Thanks for your review!

    As for the language issue... well it was not an issue at the beginning... then someone (actually a bit more than someone :P) hinted at that and it totally upset me. As I explained before, I learned British English at school, but as a matter of fact when you are out of school, if you don't live in the UK... then it's probably American English you are going to read or listen to. When I watch TV it usually is American English and customers at work are from the US or things like that, so in the end, if you are not a native speaker, things do get complicated ^_^ and when I started writing this fiction... it just crashed down on me ^_^;;;

    Thanks for your support!

    Great chapter.
I like the fact that you write British english. Since the story takes place in Britain I don't like Harry Potter fics being written in American english.

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! And thanks for understanding my issues with the language ^_^
