I really enjoyed this chapter, however, I have a bit of a problem with one part. Snape has been taking care of a kid who was clearly abused, and immeditely begins disciplining him by SPANKING HIM? I mean, I don't like spanking much in the first place, but spanking a kid who was just recently abused seems a bit...off. It just doesn't seem logical. Plus I think Harry would've reacted badly to it. At the very least, Snape should have a talk with Harry about his disciplining techniques. In my opinion though, I think he should resort to a different disciplanary technique. Despite my problem with the story, I did really like it. You are a talented writer.
I think this story is off to a good start. You've included some really great emotions in this story and it's enjoyable to read. I hope the Weasleys and Remus pop up sometime in this story, It'd be so much fun to read a little Ron because he's one of my favorite characters ^^. Great work so far, I believe I will continue reading and reveiwing this story.

This is a really good start. I think though that Severus should explain to Harry that, while he will spank/paddle him he will never do to him what his relatives did. It would make the story more realistic, as children who have been abused do not 'get over it' over night.
