Oooh, I'm so excited! It's been so long since I've read a Forever Knight fan fic! I wrote a HP with a little bit of FK in it once but that was on another site. Thanks for the interesting story! I'm definitely looking forward to more!

I like this story! I love how you've mixed the two genres together. "Henri" may end up being a little more stuck-up than Draco, but with more reaon to be so. Update soon!
Author's Response: Perhaps. Perhaps not. Growing up surrounded by people who are all at least a century older than you will either make you a spoilt brat (you are the baby, after all) or act older than your age. You'll see what happens to Henri.
OOH this looks like it's gonna be good. I adored Forever Knight(except for the end WAAAHHHH), and of course I love HP so it's a perfect match.
Author's Response: Just remember the rabid FK fan mantra--Nobody dies. Nobody ever dies--and you'll be fine.
Interesting story so far. I will admit that I am not at all familiar with the cross-over story, but this looks very intriguing and I think I will enjoy reading it.
However, I must admit that I was a little disappointed to see a new story from you. Do you have any plans to finish For Duty and Honor? I think that story is one of the most well-written Harry/Severus stories out on fanfiction. I wish you would continue with it.
Author's Response: I am planning on finishing For Duty and Honor; I'm just stuck at the moment. A lot of things have happened in RL, and Midnight Watch is for my late father, who died in October. He was more taken with the idea than I was. :) We spent a year plotting it out in fits and starts while I continued to work on Duty. I'm afraid I shelved Duty when he died to work on Midnight Watch. It's his story as much as it is mine.

I don't know anything about "First Knight" at all...I had to look up the particulars on Wiki...but this is an intriguing start.
Author's Response: IIRC, First Knight is something entirely different. Because Forever Knight was always a cult hit rather than a mainstream favorite, I tried to make sure that familiarity with the universe wasn't a prerequisite for being able to read and enjoy the story. I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

loved this story. I am glad that someone found harry early. Glad that Severus will have a role
Author's Response: Thank you. I wanted Harry to have a vastly different upbringing, and the Dursleys would have easily given him away as a toddler. I didn't want to spend lots of time dealing with the Dursleys' abuse, either, so an early rescue, when it's still conceivable that he might remember his parents, was called for.
Very good beginning, I absolutely love Nicolas (hopefully, I'm spelling this right...) and Harry/Henri. Keep up the good work, and update soon! ;D
Author's Response: Thank you! I should be adding chapter two within the week.

Enjoyed this crossover very much and loved the interaction between Henry and LaCroix.
Author's Response: Hang in for more. I'm up to 70,000 words, and we're only into PS.
