Reviews For Midnight Watch
Excellent characterization on both sides of the table, wizard and vampire alike. Well done! Author's Response: It's not abandoned, I just have no writing time ATM....

Author's Response: Planning to. It's been hectic in RL lately and I haven't had much writing time.
Can't wait till Hogwarts meets "Henri" I was a BIG fan of Forever Knight. Author's Response: There are a lot of us out there and I've been finding us FK fans with this story...
Author's Response: yes, I will.
Author's Response: I've just acquired new beta readers. Which is a good thing, because I tend to miss things on my own.
Wouldn't LeCroix even *look* at the child, though, to see she is not deformed? Ditto the Weasleys. Author's Response: LaCroix has... sources. Think the Godfather... only scarier.
I am looking forward to seeing how this develops, how changed, and in what way, Harry will be. To be frank, one thing almost put me off, and that is the Ginny inclusion which is completely unnecessary, not to mention seems very artificial - you wanted her there, and it wasn't natural. Depending how this part goes I may yet give up, as I loathe Harry/Ginny stories and am yet to find one that has something better to offset it. Anyway, am still reading as I like it so far, but if we see more of Ginny, and soon ... well ... thanks for this so far. Author's Response: There are solid reasons behind the inclusion of the Weasleys at this point. The wizarding world is not tolerant of dark creatures, and Henri's birth identity cannot be kept secret forever. The betrothal is more for purposes of calming the populace than for a marriage to actually occur. Frankly, at this point, I'm leaning towards it *not* working and Henri marrying someone else in the end. There's time yet; Henri isn't yet at Hogwarts. |
