Reviews For Midnight Watch
Author's Response: Just remember the rabid FK fan mantra--Nobody dies. Nobody ever dies--and you'll be fine.
However, I must admit that I was a little disappointed to see a new story from you. Do you have any plans to finish For Duty and Honor? I think that story is one of the most well-written Harry/Severus stories out on fanfiction. I wish you would continue with it. Author's Response: I am planning on finishing For Duty and Honor; I'm just stuck at the moment. A lot of things have happened in RL, and Midnight Watch is for my late father, who died in October. He was more taken with the idea than I was. :) We spent a year plotting it out in fits and starts while I continued to work on Duty. I'm afraid I shelved Duty when he died to work on Midnight Watch. It's his story as much as it is mine.
Author's Response: IIRC, First Knight is something entirely different. Because Forever Knight was always a cult hit rather than a mainstream favorite, I tried to make sure that familiarity with the universe wasn't a prerequisite for being able to read and enjoy the story. I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I wanted Harry to have a vastly different upbringing, and the Dursleys would have easily given him away as a toddler. I didn't want to spend lots of time dealing with the Dursleys' abuse, either, so an early rescue, when it's still conceivable that he might remember his parents, was called for.
Author's Response: Thank you! I should be adding chapter two within the week.
Author's Response: Hang in for more. I'm up to 70,000 words, and we're only into PS.
Author's Response: The first six chapters have been written. I'll be posting them fairly soon.
Author's Response: Forever Knight was a television show. It's no longer on the air, but it is on DVD. Netflix might have it. It's still easy to buy off Amazon and Ebay. *g* I seem to be converting people right and left into FK fans with this story...
((One thing - Grandpère, not grandpére haha. If you ever need help with anything French - culture or language - give me a ring. I'd be pleased to.)) Author's Response: Thank you! Forever Knight really is in a league of its own. I'm just borrowing their characters. Thanks for the correction. :) It's been a while since my last French class, and there my teacher told us to mark the accents in the middle and make everybody guess which ones you mean. Now if I can just remember the right number to hit after Alt.... |
