Reviews For Shadows of Desperation
He ate enough to stay alive and keep from feinting. You might want to change feinting into fainting. Besides that, you rock. *Is eager to read next chapter and will do so now*
You just don't give up, do you?
Author's Response: Haha, feel free to give constructive criticism, I'm not quite so proud as to think my stories are flawless! lol However, I'm trying to do something with this fic that I've tried a few other times, usually with success. I'm trying to write the story as the characters live it. And as the summer was a bit of a haze, one catrastrophy to another, so was the writing. Mrs. Weasley truly, really is supposed to be way out there, nothing like she would normally be. I will try to give you more about what the characters feel, although I do tend to get long-winded and try to explain one thing only to give you a full psychological work-up on the character. LOL. Thanks, though! Feel free to keep up the comments! lol - August Sky
Ohhhhhh i just noticed the banner good job!!! Very dark, lol just like the name. Poor Harry i hope that he doesn't do anything too rash, although one can't blame him after the summer that he's had! Poor sod its not surprising that even Malfoy can make him feel guilty and push him over the edge. I hope somebody runs after him, Ginny? Snape? Blaise? (hehe just remembering another story where Blaise is his twin, hehe, *hits self over the head* enough with the inappropriate banter) Its refreshing to see a new side to Draco, its not done very often and not done well that is when it is, its nice to see him in a new light- and most importantly one that is believable- but it;s just a shame for Harry! Anyway, i like this story it reminds me slightly of Melissophia's story (that;s a good thing) it has bags and bags of potential. Keep up the good work and please update soon, can't wait for the next installment, although i have to say coming home to two new chapters was wonderful in itself so i can't complain lol. :D Cecilia Author's Response: Thank you!!! As for Harry doing something rash, he may be a Slytherin at heart, but he has spent the last five years as a Gryffindor, doing fool-hardy, Gryffindor things. Blaise and Harry twins?? Hmmm. Interesting... Although I've always seen Blaise as dark-skinned, not Italian looking, so that'd be harder for me to imagine. hahah. As to Draco, I've always imagined him as being abused, or at the very least, completely over-pressured by Lucius. (Although thanks to fandom, I'm slowly starting to see another side to Lucius. But that's for another story! lol) I'm glad you like it. I'm trying to keep him snarky and rude, but give him a more understandable reason for his behavior. And as to Melissaophia's story, I read that story about two days after I began posting this, and went OMG as I read. It was creepy. I changed quite a bit of this in response, because I utterly loathe doing anything that resembles another author's works. So I kept the original idea, and just altered it a bit. So while there'll be similarities, it will ultimately became a much different story. Thanks again!! - August Sky
Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much! I'm going to continue with the longer updates, as they are easier on me, as well. Thanks again! - August Sky
Author's Response: Hahaha. Weird, really? Hmm. Never really thought of it like that... lol The dorms are small for a reason, one will we see soon! Thanks! - August Sky
