Reviews For Filling the Void
(and sorry for my english, I am from Georgia. the one which is in Europe) :)
I'm wondering where you'll go with the book 2 storyline. Will you play it straight and have Ginny get the diary, or will Harry end up with it a little earlier? There are some interesting possibilities to play with here. I like that you stick so closely to canon, and still make the Snape/Harry rleationship believable. I am especially fond of your Snape -- to many of these "Snape adopts Harry" stories have Snape turning into SuperDad the minute he realizes Harry isn't a pampered prince. I really like that your Snape is often clueless and incompetent. One thing that's a bit confusing for me. I feel like Harry has regressed some since the last story. At the end of that he was calling Snape "Daddy" and thinking of him as his father in his head, but now he doesn't seem to think of him that way at all. I realize this probably has to do with Harry's belief that Snape doesn't want to be his father (or doesn't see him as his son), but I guess I'm not exactly clear on where Harry is emotionally. We've gotten a lot of Snape's POV (which I love), but I think we could use more from Harry as well. I know how hard it is to update when life's busy, but I'd really love for you to continue. You've got a great story here! Kudos, Chaser
I like that you brought Lucius in it and I wonder if Lucius will soon discover Severus's treachery. Oh do update soon, I cannot wait.
Anyway, I liked this take in the Lockhart scene.
Great new chapter - Papa Bear protecting his cub from Lockheart was great and Malfoy...can't wait for more! But I will...as long as it takes. Author's Response: Yay! Thank you for your patience and support. I try very hard not to leave my stories abandoned. I think I only have one that's been neglected for years and it still haunts me. So I will do my best never to do that to this story. Cheers!
Author's Response: I knew it had been a while, but when I went back and checked, yeah I was a bit stunned to realize just *how long* it had been. Oops. Thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Now I'm curious about what you expected, heh. Thanks for taking the time to read and review!
Author's Response: It will keep going. Let's hope it won't take so long this time! Thanks for reviewing :) |
