i just love the visual of an exhausted snape sprawled all over the furniture. your snape is so sarcastic and snarky (and seriously funny), and yet so gentle with harry. and his dealings with dumbledore are hilarious. “Oh spare me the butterflies and rainbows, Albus, it’s been a week since you saw me last.” absolutely tickled by that line. exellent writing. it was a long wait, but i'm still reading. (can't help myself really.) keep 'em coming!

Author's Response: I appreciate your patience.  Real life, work, friends, sleep, reading all keep me busy, but I am still very dedicated to my story.  Glad you find Snape snarky and sarcastic and funny.  It's very important that he remain that way.  While some OOCness is a necessary evil for this genre, I don't think he could stop being sarcastic if you paid him!

Sigh. Squee. Harry was just too impossibly cute! And still so terribly fragile and uncertain. Much love. ;-)

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yes, Harry is definitely still uncertain.  I'm trying not to make him *too* fagile (I know a lot of people hate that) but frankly some fragility is necessary.  I always thought the Harry of the books was a little too stoic for someone who grew up in a cupboard, hated.

Oh, this is the sweetest story I have ever read! I would have reviewed sooner, but I got relegated to the computer with the keyboard that doesn't work!

I could view the story, but since the key don't work, I couldn't review before now.

I read "Reading the Signs", and now I'm reading this sequel, and you've got me hooked. You make Harry so loveable and Snape too, that I want to just take them in my arms, and hug them both.

Snape is becoming such a good Daddy! (Don't tell him that I said that!)

Author's Response: Heh, no worries, I'm glad you reviewed at all!  I won't tell Snape what you said, but I totally agree.  ^-^

Beautiful chapter, lyra :-) I've been looking forward to a new chapter of this story for a long time, and I must say, you didn't disappoint in the least.

Author's Response: Thanks Jade, I'm glad it met expectations!  I always worry there's too much 'filler'.

Thankyou thankyou for updating! I was thinking about Reading The Signs the other day and was just about to go and re-read it when I saw this updated! im loving how its going with my 2 favourite guys, it was so sweet when Harry stepped towards Severus when he was feeling shy. I really hope real life allows you to update soon, i'll be looking forward to it : )

Author's Response: You're very welcome!  I'm so glad you're enjoying the story.  It's always gratifying to see such responses.  I'll certainly do my best to update as soon as I can.

Lovely chapter, very amusing with the Dumbledore and Severus interaction and Sev in paternal denial. Also Harry is very sweet in this a typical boy of his age! Look forward to next chapter.

    Author's Response:

I always figured Dumbledore for someone who liked to tease, particularly those who would hate every minute of it.

And besides, Severus needs someone to point out what's obvious to everyone but him.

    Thanks for reviewing!
