Reviews For Filling the Void
Author's Response: Thank you -- I'm relieved you like the pace. I tend to worry that I'm taking things too slowly, actually. It's a tough balance to find.
Author's Response: I wanted to show Harry's defenses going up -- hence the anger. Like Snape told Dumbledore, "it's not all rainbows and butterflies." While Harry is starting to trust Snape more, he prefers to receive help without actually having to reveal how/why he needs it. He wants Snape to be a mind reader. Thus, the questions irritate and anger him. Thanks for the review! I'll do my best to update as soon as I can.
Author's Response: Yes, Harry does have some delicate sensabilities, lol. Thanks for the review.
I want to just hug Harry and whack those awful Durseleys' Author's Response: Well, I have to admit I'd be worried if you wanted to hug the Dursleys and whack Harry, heh. Glad you liked the chapter.
The whole baby monitor was very cute...I could just see Harry all offended and pouting, lol. Poor kid, being embarrassed about his awful clothes that the Dursleys made him wear. That part where Harry had tried to patch up his own jeans brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad he has Severus now! Severus is really good with him, too. He seems to know just how to respond and help. I suppose because he had an abusive childhood himself, it helps him to empathize. Looking forward to the next one! Author's Response: The fact that Harry tried to patch up his own jeans almost brought tears to Severus' eyes, too. He managed to save himself from an embarrassing display of emotion ;) Thanks again for reviewing Kristeh!
Author's Response: Heh, Harry does have a ways to go yet. He'd do a lot better if I didn't throw these emotional situations at him in every chapter. I keep trying to write an angst-free chapter, and it doesn't work. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: I'm pleased to hear it's your favourite so far. \o/ I enjoyed it too, from a writing perspective. Hopefully you'll keep the baby monitor a secret ;) Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Heh, I'm okay with dramatics, especially when they're positive and pointed towards my story :) Harry is cute when he's emotional, but I'd never tell him that. Way too embarrassing for him, lol.
Author's Response: Thank you, glad you're enjoying the story!
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate the review. |
