Reviews For Filling the Void
Author's Response: You're very welcome!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Author's Response: Snape realized that would be a big deal for Harry, if somewhat unconsciously. I'm glad he did it that way too! Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: That's one idea I had considered, actually -- the sleeping in Snape's room thing. But then I thought it might be a little too "soft" of a reaction from Severus.
Thanks so much for writing this sequel! Author's Response: Thank you for the compliments. Harry's personality is tough to write because he is very much walking an emotional tightrope between acting his age and regressing. I suspect he'll be going back and forth quite a bit in this story. I love hearing about the bits people think are funny, because I never actually try to be so it's a nice bonus to receive!
I liked Harry thinking the things in his room all belonged to Luka. That just says so much about his mental state. I also love this idea of him camping outside Severus's room. I can't wait to see where this is going! Author's Response: Thank you. The first chapter is always so difficult to write, although made somewhat easier this time around because of all the background in RTS. The camping outside Severus' room was the very first thought I had about this sequel, so I'm glad you liked it!
It'll be interesting to see how Snape and Harry continue to interact throughout the sequel. I can't wait to read more! A brilliant start! Author's Response: I discovered rather early in life that if something is wrong and everyone is panicing, One person always manages to remain calm and collected. Someone has to right? Severus has always struck me as that person -- incredibly hard to rattle. And while Harry seems to throw him off-kilter more easily than anyone or anything else, he still needs to be the steady rock in this arena. For Harry. Thank for reviewing!
Poor little Harry...he's still so incsecure. I wonder if it some of it is because they're away from Hogwarts, in a home environment, and in the back of his mind Harry isn't sure what to expect from Severus here. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! Author's Response: A very astute review! You've managed to capture Harry's state of mind freakishly (heh) well. He is very insecure still, and Severus, perhaps foolishly, wasn't expecting that. He has a lot to learn.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm very glad you enjoyed it! And you're right, Severus will get to the bottom of the issue -- hopefully without pulling his hair out ;)
This little glitch cracked me up: "textile exploration" I think you meant "tactile" which means sense of touch rather than fabric. But maybe Harry wanted to touch just the drapes and bedspread? ;-) Author's Response: Hahaha I totally meant 'tactile' and must have had a weird little mind hiccough. Thanks for pointing that out. You've hit the nail on the head -- they've started something, but Harry isn't "fixed" all of sudden. And Severus is about to find out just how many issues the boy has. |
