Reviews For Atoning The Past
That is so cute that there is another Parselmouth at Hogwarts. Harry won't feel so different now. I'm sorry that I've seemed to have missed this chapter. I'm anxious to read the next one now. Good job!
I've got to wonder about Lucius though. I don't particularly trust him, unless he's gone over to the light to save his son.
I thought it was sweet the way harry went to see his father in the hospital wing. How did Sev know Harry was there? And will we find out what his mission was? Oh and will Harry ever call him Dad? I noticed a few minor errors, in the one sentence where Dumbledore is discussing Tom Riddle with Harry he says that Tom was very "self-dependant", I think a better word here would be "self-reliant". And when Harry and Snape are leaving for the forest and Snape tells Harry to bring along his "delectable" cloak, that doesn't make sense. "Delectable" means good to eat, as in a "delectable" dessert. I think the word you need here is "detestable" as in something that is disliked, since Snape doesn't like Harry using James's cloak to break rules. Otherwise, excellent chapter! Author's Response: updating tonight in fact...lol... I know there are a few mistakes all over the place...I've actually been working on that...but currently my beta who started working from ch. 16 on is somewhat busy and so can't get to ch. 1-15...so I've actually been looking for a beta to help me out...but I really don't have time to go through beta profiles on fanfiction.net...but eventually everything will be beta'ed and edited every where I am currently posting this fic. I want to say that Lily helped them unknowngly...I can picture Lily sitting in the library just trying to study or do homework and James or Sirius coming up to her and asking her about how to make a certain potion and coming back every few minutes to ask her questions until enfuriated she would make it for them...lol. But yes...she helped them. Severus knows everything, lol. Harry isn't quiet and Snape is a spy so of course he would know if anyone was there the moment he woke up. anyway, thanks for the review...updating later tonight.
I'm so looking forward to the next chapter, and I'm as curious as a cat, and all that about what Snape was doing to land up in the hospital.
I liked how you have Harry still using the book, but will there be a time when he trusts his father enough to tell him about it? I liked the Quidditch tryouts too.
Author's Response: I wanted to show more of Draco in a way that was good as compared to how he's usually portrayed. Harry does not know about Severus being the Half-Blood Prince... thanks for the review.
Poor Harry! I hope he's okay. Guess I'll just have to read the next one!
