Reviews For An Uncertain Future
Author's Response: Thank you!
I'll do my best to do just that! ;)
And what an ending! Well, it'll be interesting to see how McGonagall responds. Author's Response: Thank you Kristeh. Coming from you, that is a compliment indeed! I feel sorry for Harry too! :) As I said to someone else, Harry is in way over his head, and Severus' initial reaction, though harsh, is due to the fact that he has lost so much because of his poor judgement, when he was not much younger than Harry himself. We all know that Snape is not the most demonstrative person, and much of his anger is really due to his fear for Harry. He would never admit it though! Hmmm...McGonagall's reaction, yes well...I think that she is in shock! ;)
By the way I've just updated Shadows, in case you didn't realize it. :) Author's Response: Thank you Snapegirl! It's true that no one knows better than Snape that Dark Magic may seem mysterious and exciting, but it can destroy you. Harry is going to need Snape's guidance soon, because he is in way over his head. Snape is at a crossroads now; Voldemort is gone, and the path ahead is unclear to him. There are so many possibilities in a world where he is free from the Dark Lords control. Unfortunately, being a father is something that is totally foreign to Snape, and he did not have the best role model. Then again... Harry doesn't know how to be someone's son either. Maybe, they will teach each other. Oh, thanks for letting me know that you've updated Shadows. I just got home from work, so I haven't had a chance to read any of the other stories that are posted. Well, I think I'll mosey right along and read it. Then you can respond to MY wonderful review! ;)
Author's Response: Yes...poor Harry. Snape's reaction is rather harsh, but dabbling in Dark Magic could have serious consequences for Harry. Harry is still young, and naive in so many ways, and he just doesn't understand the seriousness of what he's done. Eventually, perhaps Snape will discover the difficulties that Harry has endured throughout his young life, and I'm certain that if Snape knew the treatment that Harry suffered at the hands of the Dursley's, particularly his uncle, well...let's just say that I would not want to be the Dursleys! Snape and Harry have a rocky road ahead of them, but hopefully they will be able to learn to undestand one another. |
