Aw, the Scottish Lioness side of Minerva will always have a special place in my heart. Especially when she is telling Dumbledore off!

"They didn't just...date Ginny. They were...uh... lovers," Harry stated bluntly. And then Harry pulls her into his arms, “I want to be your lover Ginny.” Nice line, and a very Harry way of expressing such a sentiment.

“Again, desire overwhelmed him, and it took an enormous amount of self control to dampen his amourous inclinations. It's Fred's funeral, a little voice in his head told him firmly.” Not to mention that Ginny is only 16 and underaged, while he is of age now. Maybe he should look take a quick peek at the laws and ask Ginny what she's okay with doing before acting of these inclinations.

Shouldn't all of the Weasleys be mourning Fred?

Snape and Lily, Ginny and Harry. I've heard that people often choose spouses that look like their parents, but I've never seen such a blatantly obvious choice. :)

Yay. ^^ I like Ginny's response. Harry really needs the support.

Loved Minerva's interaction, not only with Snape, previously, but Dumbledore as well. Gosh, I love that woman, sometimes.

    Well writ.

    Author's Response:

I love Ginny's spirit and Harry needs a strong woman by his side.

Hee hee. Gotta love Minerva! She's got gumption. Thanks for reading.

Oh hell! What a confession to make! Poor Harry! And I was very pleased that Ginny took everything to well. The LAST thing Harry needed was for someone else to reject him, poor boy. But yay for happy relationships. ^_^

"He had somehow lost sight of what was important; that Severus and Harry were not simply warriors, nor soldiers, but human beings, with feelings and desires."- YAY! I had to cheer at this line here because it made me so happy. I like it when Dumbledore's explained rationally, and then understands what he's done wrong, even if he didn't mean it really. That was a great line!!

And even though I feel terrible for Harry, I still can't help but feel for our snarky professor. I mean, if you look at things from his prospective, it doesn't excuse everything he's done, but it does give an understanding. I do feel bad that he thought he escaped and then was pulled back into another mess.

...but then again, I like to figure people out and study them, so I could just be looking for what's not really shown yet or at all....or I could just be a hopless Snape fangirl...either way. ^_^

Great chapter Pandora! I look forward to more! :D

    Author's Response:

Well, Harry loves Ginny and wants to have an open and honest relationship with her. He had to take the chance that she would understand, and it, thankfully paid off.

Dumbledore does care for Harry and Severus in his own way, and never meant to hurt either one of them. As we've recently discussed in a Yahoo group that I belong to, Harry had a prophecy to live up to, and Severus wanted to atone for past sins, so their paths were pretty well mapped out for them, and whether they chose to or not, would have been targets for Voldemort, so Dumbledore thought that he was giving especially Harry the best chance of survival that he could . Of course both Snape and Harry are a little peeved at him right now, but once they understand the reasons behind his decisions, Harry's anger will turn to understanding, acceptance, and finally forgiveness of Dumbledore.

Yeah, poor Snape. He just wanted to be with Lily in the afterlife. He was tired, and felt like he'd sacrificed enough. He just wanted peace; he felt that he'd paid his dues already, and then poof...Harry brings him back from the veil, and uses very Dark Magic to do it.

    Thanks Ivy.

Ginny's going to eviscerate Snape, isn't she?

    Author's Response:

Hee hee!  It looks that way, doesn't it!

Aw, gotta love Ginny!  I love how when she stands up to Snape and doesn't let him push her or her man around!

    Aww! I love Harry/Ginny!
I'm soo glad this is cannon, [except for the whole harry being snape's son]. I'm glad Ginny can be there for Harry, too. I wonder how Snape will react to them being together? Another James and Lily maybe?
Well, what ever happens update soon~

    Author's Response:

Yeah, I love Harry and Ginny together too.  I've tried to keep the characters as much like Canon as possible. Of course, in a story like this, it is inevitable that some things will change, but I will try not to have them deviate too much from Canon.

I think that Snape maybe will see some similarities between Lily and Ginny, and I don't just mean that they both have red hair.  They are both fiercely independant and strong woman.  That is what Harry admires most about Ginny...her strength of character.

Thanks for reviewing, and I plan to update very soon.

Sorry I've fallen behind, but this is a lovely chapter! I grinned at Minerva giving Dumbledore his orders at the beginning, and you write Harry and Ginny very well. Of course Ginny is a bit overwhelmed at learning everything, but I'm glad she's there for Harry, too. I have a feeling Harry's going to need her support.

    Author's Response:

Oh thank you!  I love the banter between Dumbledore and Minvera.  She's gotta keep him in line!

Oh yes, Harry is definitely going to need Ginny's support soon!  I adore Ginny and Harry together, and I guess that I see them as being soulmates, like they were always meant to be together.

Thank you for your kind words, and taking the time to review. It means alot to me, and I can't wait to read YOUR next update of Slave Child...hint...hint!  ;)

Aww, isn't Ginny lovely? I am glad that poor Harry has someone he can rely on unequivocally. She was shocked and concerned, yes, but not angry.

It seems that DD is the bad guy in your story and I can't see Harry ever forgiving him. You've made him the master manipulator, only interested in Harry as a means to an end. Or so Harry thinks anyway.

Great chapter. Loved the interaction with Harry and Ginny. I loved that Mrs Weasley cares for Harry as much as ever, even though one of her sons died in the battle of Hogwarts.

    Lesley

    Author's Response:

I was thinking about you when I wrote that chapter Lesley!  I know that you were worried that Ginny wouldn't be a part of Harry's life, and I wanted to dedicate almost a whole chapter to show how strong their feelings are for each other.

Actually Lesley, with the way that Snape is acting towards Harry, Harry's forgivness towards Dumbledore may not be so far-fetched!  Harry might be starting to feel just a little more compassion towards Dumbledore at this point. After what happens in the NEXT chapter, Harry may be running up to DD's office pretty quickly to tell him that he understands why he kept them apart from each other and lied about their relationship.

Oh Harry is like a son to Mrs. Weasley, and the poor dear is just heart-broken.  I hope to have more of the Weasley's in future chapters.  I just haven't gotten that far in my thinking yet!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review MY story, when you are so busy writing your two!  Speaking of which, I'm just hungry for a chappie of Shocking Discovery!  Any plans yet?  Oh, of course Muggle on ffnet, would be nice too!  You already know how much I love YOUR stories!  ;)

Oh, I liked this Ginny of yours. A nice chapter! Mila

Author's Response: Oh thank you Mila, and I loved your last chapter too!  Yeah, Ginny really cares about Harry, and he is lucky to have her as well as Hermione and Ron.

I'm glad that Harry has Ginny there to talk to and to give him advice and I hope Albus gets his act together and speaks to severus and Harry soon and helps to undo what he did, the damned fool! Looking forward to more!

    Author's Response:

Thank you.   Yeah, poor Harry, he feels quite rejected and vulnerable right now.  Aw Dumbledore, people are not puppets!

Oh, I noticed that you have updated as well, I'll go check it out! ;)

I like the groundwork you've laid, also Ginny's reaction to all of Harry's revelations. It's good he's going to have her in his corner.
Now I'm interested in seeing what you do to--uh, I mean WITH--Severus.

    Author's Response:

Hee hee!  And she cackles evily.  What to do with Sev...hmm...good question.  Got any suggestions?  I've got a few ideas in mind!  ;)

Yes, Ginny is in Harry's corner, at least for now! ;)  Hee hee! evil cackling again!

    Thanks for the review!
