Reviews For An Uncertain Future
Author's Response: Oh, it definitely does not bode well.
Harry's a little bit of a nut, isn't he? WHY mess with Snape? The man almost always come out on top!- and then add in the fact that he's scarey as hell when he's mad! Harry's a VERY lucky boy that he didn't act this way when Sev thought he was really James's son. >_< Harry's be a puddle right now. But I was impressed with Severus in this chapter. He's doing really good...for him. He's been caring, attentive, even a bit understanding, all of this in his own way of course, but it shows now. I'm glad that he's stepping up to the plate. But I was sad for him when he thought about all the wasted years...*sniff* Poor man.. But Draco, you little wanker! He's going to cause all kinds of trouble! Stupid kid! Fantastic chappie Pandora!! :D Author's Response: Thanks Ivy. I love a protective Severus. I think that this incident really brought home to Severus, just what his feelings towards Harry were, and how deep hi spaternal feeings are.
Harry is being controlled by Dark Magic, or he would never have dared push Sev's buttons like that!
Sevrus is getting thre,Slowly but surely.
Draco is pushing his limites, that's for sure.
Thanks Ivy.
-P.G. Author's Response: I think that Sev is going to be so relieved when Harry regains conciousness, that his anger at Harry's recklessness will fade away into the background. Besides, Snape knows that Harry's mood swings are motivated by the Dark Magic that is influencing him. Of course Snape is not always reasonable!
I was so glad to see Severus give that big idiot what-for! yay! And I liked the way he was slowly beginning to regret that he missed all those years with harry, it's so sad. I hope his potion can help Harry. hey, if you want to see another scene where Sev kicks someone's butt, I've just updated SG and he fights Throckmorton. Author's Response: Yeah, Draco is a sneaky one, isn't he/ Yeah, It's about time that Severus is protective of Harry. He really is beginning to see that his attitude towards his son needs to change. It is very sad that he has missed all those years with his son. Hopefully, they can begin to come to some understanding. If anyone can help Harry, it's Severus, and his potion has had remarkable results with other patients. Great, I always love to read a good Sev kicking someone's butt story, especially that idiot Thockmorton!
He's also being a tiny bit more considerate of Harry's friends...giving Hermione a note so she wouldn't be in trouble for being out after curfew, allowing Ron and Ginny to come to the infirmary simply because Harry would have wanted them there.... And I loved how he was so protective and threatened the big Slytherin when he hit Harry. Yes, Severus is making great progress; I'm quite proud of him, lol. I loved how you showed his regrets and pain over missing out on being Harry's father while he was growing up. Nothing can replace those lost years, unfortunately, but truly, seventeen is not very old and they can still have many years together. I just have to mention that I really like how you're describing Harry as still looking younger and smaller than his years, too. It makes him even more endearing, and I do think it's likely that Harry would be affected permanently by the years of malnutrition when he was a child. Unfortunately, people who do not receive adequate food in their young years often do have lifelong consequences, such as not reaching their full growth potential. Harry's lucky that his mind and intelligence were not affected, too. Another reason I would really like to see the Dursleys punished...their neglect and abuse is something that will affect Harry in various ways, physical and emotional, for the rest of his life. And he could have suffered much worse consequences, too. Oh, well, just wanted to say I loved the chapter and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one! Author's Response: Oh thank you. Yes, Sev has a ways to go before he'll feel really comfortable expressing his feelings, but he is beginning to feel really protective of Harry now. Yeah, I wanted to describe Harry as looking younger and smaller than seventeen, because I think that it provokes more of a protective feeling from Severus. Perhaps if Harry were big and sturdy-looking, then Sev would be less apt to feel the need to protect him.
Yes, seventeen may be the legal age in the wizarding world, but let's face it, Harry's still just a kid to someone Severus' age. They still have many years together, but of course Severus will still feel that regret at having missed his earlier years. I would say that the kind of abuse that Harry suffered at the hands of the Dursleys' will definitely have long term affects. He'll always look younger and perhaps sickly looking, as his body lacked nutrition to grow to his full potential. How was your vacation? I can't wait for YOUR next chapter!!
Author's Response: Thank you. I think that it's beginning to hit Snape just how much he's missed with his son, and hopefully he'll realise that it's not too late to get to know his son.
i hope they find harry' abused now.and i hope snape learn sutupid draco' plan.i really don't like him.please update soon.i love your story. Author's Response: Thank you. Yeah, Snape's finally softening up a bit. It's about time, isn't it. He's not going to be too fluffy once Harry wakes up though, he wouldn't want to ruin his reputation! Yeah, Draco is a real snot, isn't he? |
