Reviews For An Uncertain Future
How could you just - just end it? There?? O_O!!! GAH! Evil. Author's Response: I'm the evil Queen, didn't you know? LOL
Author's Response: Hmm....what are you thinking. Nervous, are we?
LOL!! So good to have you back. I want to read your story though. I'm so anxious. You left us on a bit of a cliffie!
I loved the interaction between them in the morning, though. That was so realistic and believable. I could just picture them. Their relationship is still tentative, and new for both of them. They're still figuring it out and trying to overcome barriers, but they are reaching out to one another. And though they both have a temper, their stubbornness can be an advantage, too. I think they've reached the point where, even though the road ahead may be rocky, they're both determined to keep on reaching out to one another. I think neither one would be willing to give up the relationship now. I had to chuckle at the scene with Draco, though I was concerned as well. It's really not like Harry to be antagonistic. The details for the ritual were amazing, but did you have to end on that cliffhanger! Now I can't wait for the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks. I won't give too many details about the nightmares, because it is an integreal part of the plot line to follow and the dreams are an important lead-in to that. Severus and Harry have been side-tracked but they will discuss the dreams at length soon. Severus and Harry have a lot to learn about being father and son. They really have no role models to follow, do they? Severus' own father was extremely abusive and the Dursleys were never really a family to Harry and his Uncle was definitely not a model father to Harry's cousin, and nowhere near a father-figure to harry. There is also a power struggle going on here. Harry is consumed with Dark thoughts and is at the mercy of his uncontrolllable emotions, and Severus is definitely used to being in control. They have to learn to meet each other half-way, and there are so many obstacles blocking the way. Only time will bring them closer.
Yeah, the scene between Harry and Draco was really fun to write. I can't help it, I know it's out of character, but Draco really deserved a little of his own medicince. Besides, Harry's tired of being a good little boy, and turning the other cheek! LOL!
The ritual was fun to write too, but I'm sure that my Latin is horribly wrong. I just hope that anyone who is proficient in Latin is not judging me too harshly. Sorry, never learnt the language! LOL!
Author's Response: Blushes. Thank you so much. I can't take credit for thinking of the idea since it was a challenge and a brillinat one, but I appreciate that you think I've done it justice.
Author's Response: "Sorry," she says sheepishly. "I'll do better next time." "Thanks for the compliment," she says, and takes a bow! :) " "Next one will be up soon," she promises, and crosses her fingers that she can deliver!
Author's Response: I think that having the Dark Magic gone from his system, will make Harry less defensive and combative, and hopefully him and Draco can make peace with each other. They do have a lot in common, but can they put the past behind them. I don't know. We'll see.
Yeah, Snape and Harry are starting to feel more comfortable with each other. It's hard because Harry is a little older in this story as compared to most others, so it's natural that the acceptance will take longer.
Author's Response: Now, would "I" do that! (Innocent look)
Aw, don't worry. I'm not "that" evil! ;)
-P.G. P.S. I'm surprised Sev didn't ever bring the dream back up with Harry--I thought he would. Was it important? Author's Response: Ooh,you have to wait and see! Thanks, I'll try to update soon.
I think that Severus and Harry were a little caught up in Harry's little episode with Malfoy, but they will discuss the dream, among OTHER things!! Hee hee. LOL. Evil laugh again. (Tabitha is such a bad influence on me. Her evil Dairy Queeness is definitely rubbing off!)
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much!! :)
It was almost as if you had gotten the names mixed up in the part where Harry was taunting Draco, because it was exactly the ssort of thing draco excels at. It seemed sort of wrong for such immature and hurtful things to be coming out of Harry's mouth. Harry really isn't into revenge. I know it's the dark magic being in control, but he didn't feel the least little bit of guilt or discomfort afterwards like he usually does, even though the dark magic is present. He is always remorseful when he goes off at severus. Enjoyable chapter though. Lesley Author's Response: Sorry! I'm becoming evil though with those cliffies, aren't I?
Well, I guess Harry is still sore about Draco's betrayl, and he's still very irritable from not sleeping, as well as being nervous about the ritual, and whether it will be effective. Once the Dark Magic is gone, Harry won't be so combative and cruel. I hope! :) Hee hee!
I think that he feels remorseful with Severus because he knows that Severus cares about him, and that Severus has been his rock throughout this whole ordeal. What has Draco ever done for him? Years and years of taunting and cruelty at Draco's hands have made Harry rather bitter, but a lot of this is the Dark Magic. As time goes on, the Dark Magic takes more and more control of Harry's freewill. He's trying to fight it, but it's difficult. Hopefully though, Harry will be back to normal soon. But then again, Harry will have "other" challenges to overcome. Hee hee. Evil cackle! |
