...He got plastered? You know, I'm still a teenager and I STILL don't understand other teenager's desire to drink or get drunk! I wouldn't WANT to lose any control over myself. Who knows what I say? I'd probably stand up on a table and start telling story ideas to all those who don't appreciate them or worse...*looks around scared*

But YAYS! Snape went after him!! I did feel bad that he got knocked over again, but yay anger that inspired him to go to Minerva!

Ginny's rant made me sad for Severus (even though he deserved it) I wanted to hug Snape when he got all sad there (but I won't, only cuz I wanna live a bit longer) ^_^

I'm glad Snape is sticking to Harry though. Snape sounds a lot like my dad when it comes to the drinking part. He always tells us kids when we're angry with him that he doesn't care but he's going to help us...only my daddy really does care, he just wants to be tough...but maybe Sev will feel the same later? *looks hopeful*

Wonderful chappie, Pandora! But I need to sleep. See you on the 'morrow!

    Author's Response:

Yeah, poor Harry.  He's just feeling really bad right now, and I guess that alcohol seemed like the answer, but when the hangover comes, he's not going to feel too good in the morning!

Hee hee, poor Severus. He must have a hard head. He DOES need a hug though, doesn't he?  But I'm not brave enough to give him one either.

I think that Snape IS starting to care, but he's not going to be too quick to admit it.  He's just not a demonstrative person. He'll come around the big teddy bear (DO NOT TELL HIM I SAID THAT). LOL

Thanks Ivy. Yeah, go sleep! I don't want to be responsible for your sleep deprivation! :)

Holy crap! That was tense! Harry THREW Snape?! What the crap! And then ran away?! Snape will NOT be pleased!

Poor Harry...poor everyone in Harry's path. :( He's going to feel terrible about this later, but at the moment, I'm more afraid for the other people.

But he ran away? Where is he going? What's he going to do? Snape's gotta find him! I want Snape of the case!...though I do hope his head's okay. That had to HURT!!

    Excellent chappie!!

    Author's Response:

Hee hee, I think that Harry has a death wish.  Yeah, Harry is not in his right mind right now, and he WILL feel awful later.

Go Snape go!! :)  Oh, don't worry, he'll find Harry!  I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing!

    Thanks Ivy.

OH CRAP!!! WHAT?!?!?! Harry, you did NOT just go there!!!! OMGosh!!! I KNEW that something bad would happen if Harry delt with the Dark Magic! And now I'm certain Severus's has made the connection. He just HAS to! I mean, he's gone that road too.

And just for the record, I would've punched Draco too. He's an annoying little prat. But I do think Severus and Minerva's anger was reasonable...though of course Severus might go a hint too far....a big hint....but still!

OMGoodness! I hope Snape will at least be willing to help Harry now that he's probably got it all figured.

Wonderful chappie Pandora! I'll read on a bit later.! :)

    Author's Response:

Thanks Ivy.  Hee hee, Harry is a little rash, isn't he?  Yeah, he took a chance with that Dark Magic, a big risk, and now he's paying for  it.

I would have punched Draco too. He's annoying all right!  It's not unreasonable to believe that Snape would throw a fit, and or go too far.

Snape will  help Harry now that he knows what he's dealing with.

Thanks Ivy. I really appreciate you reviewing every chapter. Tahnks again.

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm happy that they've made up too! :)

Just to clear the air here, I would also like to say that I would wrestle with Snape any hour of any day, every day. Fo'sho'! XD

“Not to be holding your breaths until you look like constipated hyenas,” he said maliciously.-AHAHAHAHAHAHA!! XD I love that line! It was so funny I burst out laughing. Classic Snape. ^_^

But WHOA! Harry! You stupid boy! Why would he miss TWO classes? And then cheek Snape of all people. How terrible! I'd be pretty ticked off too had I been Snape and some mouthy kid I already don't like is giving me crap. It has something to do with using Dark Magic, doesn't it? I'm 89% sure...I think....

But oh no! What's Draco done now? While I kinda feel bad about him, I don't feel so bad that I can forgive him for sending that owl...did he write to the Ministry? Did he write to the Prophet? I don't know!-but I will soon!

Fantastic chappie, Pandora! I'm running right along to the next! :D

    Author's Response:

Yeah, they should make it a new sport...Snape Wrestling!

Hee hee, Anpe does come up with some good ones, doesn't he?

Yeah, Harry does like to push the envelope, doesn't he? LOL!

Draco...Draco...Draco..What HAVE you done. I guess that you'll have to keep on reading to find out! :)

    Thanks Ivy.!

I just loved this chapter, Pandora! From the very beginning right til the last sentence, it was wonderful.

I'm so happy that Harry and Severus have a real home together at Spinner's End, and Harry's room sounds just beautiful, grand but cozy at the same time. I hope that in time, as he and Harry build new and good memories, and with the house looking so different, that Severus will think of it as a happy place too.

I can understand perfectly that it's hard for Harry to leave and head back to school. It's his first real home, and he and Severus need to spend time together, just relaxing and getting to know one another with the pressures of school and other people around. But Harry does enjoy Hogwarts and he'll get to see Ginny and his friends, and he and Severus have weekends at Spinner's End to look forward to now.

Great reunion scene with Ginny, you write her and Harry so well together, and thank goodness that Ron and Hermione have finally patched things up again. They have been through too much to let it go now, and they do care deeply for one another. I'm so happy that Harry was able to make them see that, and to make Ron see reason.

But I am really concerned about Adams causing Harry trouble, and Harry's reluctance to ask for help, though I do understand it. But Severus is very sharp and not much gets by him, so hopefully he'll notice on his own before things get too bad?

Anyway, it was such a great chapter, and I was so happy to see that you're working on this story again. It's one of my favorites! I'm already looking forward to the next chapter!

    Author's Response:

Hi again. Thanks so much for that lovely comment.

I think that perhaps Harry's presence and the change in the decor, has made it easier for Severus to get past his horrible past experience with  Spinners End. I think that it is time for a new beginning for them both.

Oh, Harry is torn now, because he wants to see Ginny and misses her, but he's feeling all warm and happy with his new home, and spending time with his new father. But yeah...knowing that he'll see Ginny will make it easier for him to go backto Hogwarts. Yes, he'll have weekends also to look forward to.

Oh thanks. I know not everyone likes Ginny and Harry together, but I like J.K.'s choice of partner for Harry. I think that she's feisty and strong-willed, and brave and just what Harry needs. They are good for each other I think. They balance each other out perfectly.

Adams is trouble with a capital "T", but don't worry, Harry has got his number, and will put the big baboon in his place once and for all!  Yeah, Sev will eventually figure it out as well.

Thanks Kristen,  and I loved your new chappie too, and am on pins and needles waiting for the next one.

    Author's Response:

I think that you pressed the button twice!!! I'll give a more detailed answer on the next one.

Thanks so much. You always make me feel so good with your lovely reviews. I think that both Severus and Harry are starting to feel more comfortable with each other now, and they are both going to make this Christmas one that they'll both never forget.

I think that if Ginny and Harry are so happy together, then it would take some of his happiness away if his best friends were at odds. They've just been through too much together like you said to stay at odds like that.

Thanks Kristeh! Now, I'll go answer the second review! :)

"They are all conspiring against you...they want you to fail."-well that can't be good! Could that be an effect from the Dark Magic? I hope it doesn't go any farther, but I wouldn't be surprised...actually, now that I think on it, that's kinda how Severus started out, wasn't it? I hope if this continues with Harry that Snape will help him...if not just to make sure another Dark Wizard rose up.

"He was beginning to feel ganged up on by Snape and McGonagall."-OMG! What a tag team those two would be!! That would be so fun to see...from a safe distance, but still! That's actually an awesome idea to me for some reason.
The idea of wrestling comes to mind for some odd reason...

"Ironically... Severus had been the only one who who had seen that Harry should have been made to adhere to the rules, not constantly encouraged him to break them, as had done consistently."-I always thought that was a sad truth others should have seen. True, he did go over board at times (most times) but he did see the need to not make Harry feel that he was above the rules or better than everyone. Too bad Harry never had a good balance when it came to favortism, eh? Dumbles gave too much and Snape way not enough!

Oh hell! Draco heard? Crap! What's he going to do now? Run and tell everyone? Or is he going to keep quiet and then go talk to Snape? Or is he going to get caught? Oh man!

    Wonderful chapter Pandora!!

    Author's Response:

Oh definitely, Ivy. Harry is not himself, the poor boy.  Severus will help, don't worry.

Yeah, Snape and McGonagall make a formidable duo, don't they? Wrestling?  Now that's an interesting image in my mind now. I'd wrestle Snape any day!

Too true Ivy; Snape was way too harsh, and Dumbledore turned a blind eye to his transgressions too frequently, and encouraged dangerous behaviour. Harry never got a balance.

Yup, Draco Heard alright!  Now, knowing Draco the way that you do, what do YOU think? Hee hee !

     Thanks, Ivy.

Sorry it took me so long to read this one. All this talk about tea really had me wanting some, so I had to make it. ^_^

On with the review! OH NO!! I always feel sorry for Harry when Snape looks smug...but thinking of Snape smug makes me want to cuddle the PM and I don't think he'd like that very much. He's definately AK me in the face. *sigh* But still...

Harry just can't catch a break, can he? If it's not one thing, it's another. He's always finding out something terrible.

But hazzah Minerva! I loved her speech and how stern she was. The students aren't going to get away with ANYTHING now that they've not only got McGonagall as Headmistress, but Snape as Deputy Headmaster. I have to giggle at that. Poor students....

I also loved her talk with Harry and her explination of Snape. Bravo! Give it time Harry, give it a little time...but I'm sure two minutes isn't enough time, because now he's got potions. Poor kid (even though he's like only a year younger than me or the same age as me in this).

Bravo Pandora! I'll have to read on...after I get more tea. XD

    Author's Response:

Yes, definitely if you try to cuddle Sev, he will hex you!!! :)

    Now, "I" want tea too!

No, poor Harry, life is never easy for the poor boy.

Those poor kids, McGonagall and Snape are the strictest teachers at Hogwarts and with eyes in back of their heads...watch it Harry!! :)

McG just wants Harry to have a family, and she really wants the same thing for Snape, even though he doesn't know that he wants it yet!

Thanks Ivy...I'm drinking coffee, but I'm definitely getting tea after.

Oh hell! What a confession to make! Poor Harry! And I was very pleased that Ginny took everything to well. The LAST thing Harry needed was for someone else to reject him, poor boy. But yay for happy relationships. ^_^

"He had somehow lost sight of what was important; that Severus and Harry were not simply warriors, nor soldiers, but human beings, with feelings and desires."- YAY! I had to cheer at this line here because it made me so happy. I like it when Dumbledore's explained rationally, and then understands what he's done wrong, even if he didn't mean it really. That was a great line!!

And even though I feel terrible for Harry, I still can't help but feel for our snarky professor. I mean, if you look at things from his prospective, it doesn't excuse everything he's done, but it does give an understanding. I do feel bad that he thought he escaped and then was pulled back into another mess.

...but then again, I like to figure people out and study them, so I could just be looking for what's not really shown yet or at all....or I could just be a hopless Snape fangirl...either way. ^_^

Great chapter Pandora! I look forward to more! :D

    Author's Response:

Well, Harry loves Ginny and wants to have an open and honest relationship with her. He had to take the chance that she would understand, and it, thankfully paid off.

Dumbledore does care for Harry and Severus in his own way, and never meant to hurt either one of them. As we've recently discussed in a Yahoo group that I belong to, Harry had a prophecy to live up to, and Severus wanted to atone for past sins, so their paths were pretty well mapped out for them, and whether they chose to or not, would have been targets for Voldemort, so Dumbledore thought that he was giving especially Harry the best chance of survival that he could . Of course both Snape and Harry are a little peeved at him right now, but once they understand the reasons behind his decisions, Harry's anger will turn to understanding, acceptance, and finally forgiveness of Dumbledore.

Yeah, poor Snape. He just wanted to be with Lily in the afterlife. He was tired, and felt like he'd sacrificed enough. He just wanted peace; he felt that he'd paid his dues already, and then poof...Harry brings him back from the veil, and uses very Dark Magic to do it.

    Thanks Ivy.
