Reviews For Visions of Christmas
Author's Response: Thank you. Yeah, it was a bit dismal, but I wanted to show how a little bit of kindness from Snape could brighten up Harry's Christmas. After all, the poor kid's life was turned upside down.
Author's Response: Thanks you!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I'm new at this so your kind words are much appreciated.
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! I had actually had Harry call Snape"Dad" at the end, but another reviewer on ffnet, thought it was a little fast to do that, and I agree, o I changed it to "father".
And they did, all my family was together and they all got along and that's what I really wanted for Christmas. My mom had gotten really sick before Christmas and my nephew nearly was killed in a car crash, so we were all really grateful this year for God's grace and mercy and the fact that we were all here to celebrate. Hope yours was good too! Author's Response: I'm so sorry to hear about your mom being sick and your nephew's car accident. I'm so happy to hear that God was watching over him. He must have a guardian angel keeping him safe.
I've a a little bit of a rough Christmas too. I've been very sick as well. I've had a bad chest cold for the past two weeks and it's been affecting my asthma On my way to the doctor I slipped and fell on the ice and hurt both wrists! I'm still really sick and I don't know how I'll go back to work on Monday.
Thanks for the review! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!
Author's Response: Thank you. LOL Yeah, Severus WAS being a bit of an arse, wasn't her? Harry is his son for goodness sake!
Author's Response: Hey it's Christmas. I can be forgiven for sappy, can't I? LOL Happy Christmas!
I'm so glad that Severus came through for him and gave him a real Christmas after all. Harry needs his friends and Sirius (and yay for Sirius for being the adult and acting mature and seeing that Harry is still Harry, no matter who his father is). Of course he also needs Severus, too, and now I think they can begin to see that finding each other is a blessing. That would be hard for Harry to do if he believes that Severus is taking everyone else away from him, but now that he can see that he can have everyone, I hope that he and Severus will both realize that they have been given a precious gift in finding one another. Oh, and I loved Severus' gift to Harry. I think that picture will mean more to him than anything else would. Great story! Author's Response: Thank you so much. I know it's a little corny, but its actually based on another story I started writing before Uncertain Future, and the beta that I had couldn't finsih doing it, and I had already started working with Tabitha on Uncertain Future. When I'm finished with Uncertain Future, I'll finish that other one. I had actually written quite a bit, but it is very rough and needs to be betaed and reworked. It is what happens leading up to THIS story. Harry is all set to go live with Sirius, and then the bomb is dropped that Severus is Harry's father, not James. An tug of war ensues and they fight over Harry. Harry feels that he is being used by both of them, he thinks that Snape only wants him to get back at Sirius, and Snape only wants him to get back at Sirius and James. So, the story is based on Harry's feelings of rejections and feeling as though nobody really wants HIM and sees HIM as a person, not a tool to get back at the other one.
I guess this story would be in the middle or so of the other one if I ever post it. Yeah, I think that Albus may have finally gotten through Severus' thick skull, that Harry is his son and it's about time that he made an effort to form a father son relationship.
Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words, and taking the time to review.
Author's Response: Thank you, I know that it's sappy but I thought that since my other story is so intense and serious that I wanted to write a nice fluffy one for Christmas! Yeah Sev is definitely not a people person, but he realises that him and his son have a long way to go if they are ever going to be father and son. How can Sev not be pulled in by Harry's charm though. I was wondering what Sirius' reaction would be in Canon, were he to find out that Harry is James' son, and I thought that he would probably be furious at fist, but then think about Lily and that Harry is her son as well. Also, what is unsaid here is that Severus reinstated Sirius as Harry's godfather. That helped smoothed things over. That and the fact that Sirius knew that James was aware of Harry's paternity and loved him anyway, and that was good enough for Sirius. Woa, long reply. Thanks for your sweet words. |
