Reviews For A Pair of Phoenixes
Author's Response: Hey, Kim! I'm so happy you're reading; I really love this story.
I also love slave fics where Harry is Snapes slave (as you may have guessed from my reviews for Slave Child!!) I will look forward to this as well as SC being updated : ) Author's Response: Thank you! I actually don't like for Harry to be so hurt...despite what it may seem, lol, but I do think he would be more affected by all the hardships he's suffered. No one can really be that resilient, and I like to write about the healing process, so that's why so many of my stories are angsty and hurt/comfort. I really don't want to be 'slave-fic' writer, but this was inspired by a few other stories I've read, plus wondering about some alternative scenes from SC. I'm working on the next SC chapter now and I may try to work on this one again after the SC chapter is finished. Thanks again! I'm happy you like it.
More soon, please, of both stories! V. Author's Response: Thank you! No need to worry about SC...it's my top priority (writing priority, that is)! I've done a lot of writing the past few weeks, or at least I feel that I have, and now that "Christmas at Spinner's End" is complete, I'm taking a week's holiday from writing. But I am planning to work on a new chapter for SC later this week. As for "Pair of Phoenixes", I've wondered if I should have even posted it, as I know I'll only be able to work on it in bits here and there, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Thanks again!
I hope Severus and Harry find some happiness and I hope you are able to work on this and still finish SC and Potions Professor. Now you have a lot to keep track of. Author's Response: Thank you! Well, yeah, but I think things were askew in the Wizarding World in canon, too, since they all depended on Harry to save them there and the house elves are slaves. For the record, I strongly disapprove of slavery, and I am planning for Harry to eventually be free again in both SC and in this one. I do have a lot to keep track of, lol, but I will get it all done eventually, God willing!
Question - will you work on this one and Slave child as well? I know you put Potions Professor on hold to finish Slave CHild and I was hoping for a finished Slave Child so you could get back to Potions Professor? Author's Response: Thank you! "Slave Child" is top priority...I can't wait to get back to it, actually, lol! I'm trying to finish "Christmas at Spinner's End" tonight and then a SC chapter will be next. I'll just have to work on this one in little bits here and there, I think.
Author's Response: Thank you! I don't really like for Harry to be so hurt (though it may seem so), but it does seem like he's extremely resilient in canon, doesn't it?
Can you imagine trying to cut off his mark? Yikes, how painful! Nice beginning Kristeh. I'm looking forward to reading more. I want to see more of Sev taking care of Harry. I love when Severus is so caring. Author's Response: Thank you, Pandora! Yes, there will be more of Severus the caretaker here. >>>I love when Severus is so caring. So does that mean he'll end up being a marshmellow in your story, too, lol? |
