Wow.. :( That's really sad. I understand where Harry's coming from with his depression. I'm actually glad you put in this kind of reaction to it. Slavery is a terrible thing. Even if you are treated like a son or a friend the knowledge would still be there in the back of your mind, destroying any happiness you could have had.

X3 That being said, this is a well written story and, even though it's not my scene, I enjoyed reading it. Thanks for this!

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yes, I think it would be devestating for Harry, for anyone.  I do plan on a happy ending, but its a rough road getting there.

Thank you so much for updating! I absolutely love this fic and this was a wonderful chapter. I really hope you continue it as I have already grown to love it!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I really do love this story, too.  I will definitely continue it...I hope to get the next chapter up in a few days.

0.0 can't wait for the next chapter, please update when you can. T_T so sad

Author's Response: Thank you!  I will try.  I'm working on the next chapter for Slave Child...hope to get that up very soon, and then I'm going to work on this one again.

Great chapter! I love Snape's devotion to Harry. Really loved the villa and it's surroundings, wow! The Weasleys are wonderful additions to the story, too. All around terrific story!

    Author's Response:

Thank you!  I love Severus' devotion to Harry too.  I know I skipped so much of the backstory and that makes it hard for readers...I am sorry about that, but with HP and the Potions Professor and Slave Child, I've written the whole "We're getting to know each other" part twice and I really don't think I could come up with any more new ideas on how to write that.  If I'd written more of the backstory, I'd probably have just written stuff very similar to what I've already done, and there are so many stories out there that explore that part so well.  My creativity just wasn't up to it, I didn't think.  I hope I can just allude to what has happened and readers' imagination can help to fill in the blanks.  As for the conditions of the slavery spell, well, to be honest, it's kind of vague in my mind as well.  I didn't really think it all out except that it was somehow necessary for defeating Voldie.

It may be disappointing and/or confusing, I hope not.  But I really just wanted to go on with the aftereffects, the 'fallout' as you said, and describe all the lovely mush, lol!

You asked how I wrote about all the gorgeous houses...I assure you it's not because I live in one!  I do like to read through magazines like 'Veranda' and 'Architectural Digest' though and I've been inspired by them, I guess!

    Thanks again, so much, Kim!

Aww...huge hugs for poor Severus, he looks like he needs them, ooh and I was soooo happy to see an update from you, cant wait for more lol :D

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yeah, poor Sev could use some hugs, couldn't he?  Though I don't know if he'd really appreciate it.  He's really softened up a lot towards Harry and is beginning to with Ron and Hermione too, but he can still pretty intimidating to most people.

wonderful. I love the house! Now maybe Severus can get harry to open up. Will he/has he tried legilimency?

Author's Response: Thank you!  No, he hasn't tried legilimency.  Maybe he'll try that before too long, that's a good idea.

Are you going to have Sev tell Harry that he loves him? That Harry is his son?

Author's Response: Hmm, I'd say probably so.  I don't have all the conversations planned out, but that's pretty likely.  Thank you!

Can I move in the house too? It sounds absolutely fabulous. You really have a unique gift you know Kristeh. You really write such wonderful and vivid descriptions of the house, the scenery, and the beach.

Oh I can't wait for the next chapter. I don't know which story I'm more anxious for. Although, I'm dying to see if Snape murders Harry for disobeying him in LC! :)

Please get those little fingers typing. Pretty please with sugar on top.

Oh, ps...I really hope that Harry gets better soon, and has a great life with Severus. I really want to see some interaction with the two of them. Oh, you mentioned a mushy scene coming up? Hmmm...please hurry.

Author's Response: Well, Pandora, if anyone gets to move in that house, it's gonna be me, lol!  Talk about a dream house, mmm.  Thank you so much for your kind words and your encouragement.  I'm trying to work, but it is hard when I'm still so tired.  I thought I would never get this chapter finished.  But I'll sure try to update either this one or SC soon...probably SC next.  And yep, lovely mush in both stories coming up.  Thanks again!
