Reviews For A Pair of Phoenixes
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! And happy birthday!
Rats - update soon. Author's Response: Thank you! I will update soon. I'm very excited about the next chapter, though a little nervous, too, because it's the heart and soul of the story.
Oh, I'm getting worried at Severus' comment about sacrificing himself. I'm really hoping that there is at least some progress soon. I want to see Severus and Harry become a family, and Harry be happy. I really hope that Severus can finally make a breakthrough with this potion. Author's Response: Thank you so much, Pandora! But you don't have any cause to be envious...you are a fantastic writer! And btw, I just discovered your latest chapter and left a review for it...fabulous job as always! Yes, there will be definite progress in the next chapter...I said it would take something drastic to reach Harry, didn't I? And it's about to happen...I only hope I can do it justice. It's hard with those scenes you've had built up in your own mind for so long, you know. Thanks again!
X3 That being said, this is a well written story and, even though it's not my scene, I enjoyed reading it. Thanks for this! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I think it would be devestating for Harry, for anyone. I do plan on a happy ending, but its a rough road getting there.
Author's Response: Thank you! I really do love this story, too. I will definitely continue it...I hope to get the next chapter up in a few days.
Author's Response: Thank you! I will try. I'm working on the next chapter for Slave Child...hope to get that up very soon, and then I'm going to work on this one again.
Author's Response: Thank you! I love Severus' devotion to Harry too. I know I skipped so much of the backstory and that makes it hard for readers...I am sorry about that, but with HP and the Potions Professor and Slave Child, I've written the whole "We're getting to know each other" part twice and I really don't think I could come up with any more new ideas on how to write that. If I'd written more of the backstory, I'd probably have just written stuff very similar to what I've already done, and there are so many stories out there that explore that part so well. My creativity just wasn't up to it, I didn't think. I hope I can just allude to what has happened and readers' imagination can help to fill in the blanks. As for the conditions of the slavery spell, well, to be honest, it's kind of vague in my mind as well. I didn't really think it all out except that it was somehow necessary for defeating Voldie. It may be disappointing and/or confusing, I hope not. But I really just wanted to go on with the aftereffects, the 'fallout' as you said, and describe all the lovely mush, lol! You asked how I wrote about all the gorgeous houses...I assure you it's not because I live in one! I do like to read through magazines like 'Veranda' and 'Architectural Digest' though and I've been inspired by them, I guess! Thanks again, so much, Kim!
Author's Response: Thanks again! Yes, I definitely think that everyone owes Harry a great debt and this is just one small way to begin to repay it. As Severus said, Harry really deserves more and better.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I can hardly wait to write the awakening scene too and to bringing some happiness to all of them.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, lots of angst and mush here. I love writing supportive Ron and Hermione. I do think they're absolutely fantastic friends for Harry and that they truly love him. Yes, Harry is surrounded by people who really love him (finally! The poor kid deserves to have that, I think). |
