I love your "Hidden Away" series. Keep up the great work. I'm a born southerner, Virginia, but I claim Florida as home now, even though we are trapped in New Mexico. I can't wait to read your take on New Orleans!!!

Author's Response: Thank you1 My sister's from VA--Hampton way.  I used to live in Florida too, down near Tampa.  I tmight be awhile before I get another chapter up on this one, I need to do a bit of research.  And I'm working on another fic too called Broken Wings.

Mmmmm, when this will be updated, I wonder? Mila

Author's Response: Probably after I finish with Broken Wings, I still have some research to do for it before I write the next part. Thanks for reading!

I'm so glad that Mia's ok. Sev is actually a big softie, isn't he. LOL!

He's so patient with Mia. Update soon!

Author's Response: yes, he is, especially when it comes to little girls!

But quick as the youngsters were, none of them could catch Rosie, who had heard the magic word ‘lunch', and used her beagle agility to outmaneuver them and get to the door first, because nothing comes between a beagle and free food.

lol aint that the truth, my dog acts the same way when i feed him..lol

Author's Response: It is, gotta love them! Thanks!

Oooooh, nice foreshadowing. I can tell that you are a teacher by reading this chapter--in my education classes, it has been stressed to us time and time again to admit to making mistakes to our students so they know teachers aren't perfect too. It makes us a less-intimidating force and all :D. I was happy to see Sev do that here.

Update soon--I'm excited about their trip!

Author's Response: Yes, I've taught both 7th grade and preschool, and that was also something we were told.  Although not all teachers follow that rule, and some of the old-school ones (remind me of Severus) believe that it's good if the kids (especially the troublemakers) are a little bit afraid of you.  I'll try and post a new chapter soon as I'm done learning a bit more about New Orleans.  Oh, and I've updated IC also.

Yay they're finally off on holiday next! I loved Sev's description of Rosie being jaws with brains lol it reminds me of my dog who has the same problem with the same cute eyes that just ask 'what did I do?' all innocently, puppies eh : )

Author's Response: Yes, beagles and most other dogs, love to chew and sometimes still chew after they're over a year old.  I'm doing some research right now about NO, so I don't know when I'm going to get the next chapter up.  I need to get some Cajun flavor so i can describe the sights and Remus's house accurately.

Loved it! Both of them were great! Now I want to know when they're going to New Orleans. Hope it's soon, after Severus helps Mia a little more.

Author's Response: It's coming up, right after the next chapter!

I think Severus did a great job with Harry, the kid was already beating himself up enough. And helping with Mia and Rosie will also teach him how you can always fix a mistake. I'd like him to become a Healer that would be very interesting.

Author's Response: Thanks, i think that's a good, not to mention different career choice too! And that's the truth about mistakes too.

I do really like the way that Sev handled both Harry and Mia. Very well thought out and no too harsh.

I really like how Harry and Sev's relationship has developed, and that they are so comfortable with each other.

I love little Mia, and am enjoying her in this story! Will the story take place during the whole summer, or will we see they return to school.

Will Mia eventually go to Hogwarts?

    Author's Response:

Took them awhile, though! But that's okay, sometimes that's how things work out. Plus, having Aurelian and Mel around to give Severus tips on parenting helps a lot too.

Mia will be in this for a few more chapters before they go to New  Orleans and some at the end too.  I think she's adorable and loads of fun to write.

This is planned only for the summer, though a lot happens in it.  The next story will take place during fourth year and I have a big surprise planned there.

Mia at Hogwarts . . .I don't know.  But I think Sev would have heart failure if he had to keep an eye on her AND his students, LOL!
