Ah I think Severus handled that perfectly, poor Harry really was punishing himself enough, im glad that no-one tried to make him feel even worse, he was really sweet the way he was talking to Mia and trying to help her with her fears : )

Author's Response: Yeah, poor Harry felt bad enough, he sure didn't need to feel any worse.  And he's very good with kids, all things considered.

Lol, I liked Neal and Harry's immitations of Snape at the end of the chapter. I'm glad Snape could tell how hard Harry was taking the situation and didn't yell at him. Plus, I think Harry would make a good healer :D. Great chapter!

Author's Response: Me too, maybe that could be an option for him to think about during OWLS and his seventh year, if I continue this through seventh year, that is!  Sev isn't as insensitive as he seems sometimes, beneath that prickly exterior, he really loves his son.

i loved the way Severus handled the situation with Harry. The poor boy was eating himself up with guilt, but now that he knows that his Dad forgives him he can go through the process of forgiving himself. Harry was awesome with Mia, he has a talent like his Dad said with healing. I bet Harry also helps Mia to get over her fear of brewing potions. I am sure he will be a great help to her. Great chapter and I look forward to the next one.

    Author's Response:

Yes, Harry would make  a very good healer, and he can help Mia alot with her fear, that's what the next chapter covers as well as what went wrong in the first place.

He handled that well. I liked Harry showing them how to glare properly. Thanks for the update. I can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: Yeah, that was my favorite part too, besides the bit with the Frosted Flakes.  I should have another update soon.

Poor harry and poor Mia and Rosie too! I hope Severus realizes how badly harry feels, that's as good as any punishment he can dish out. But he might make Harry help take car eof Mia and Rosie and maybe figure out how the potion exploded.

Author's Response: Good idea, he's going to need help and knowing what went wrong is important too.

So happy to see the new story up, love these character. You have started with a bang literally. Poor little Mia and Rosie, but Mia has learnt the hard way. Harry is punishing himself more than his dad could; whatever punishment Sev gives him has to be firm enough so that Harry’s guilt will be alleviated.

    Author's Response:

yes, she has and I don't think she'll be touching anything down in the lab for awhile, poor thing!

Harry is a wreck over this, but he will learn from it, and Severus senses this.  You'll see what he says to Harry next chapter.

Aw, I feel really bad for Harry!

Yikes, I don't know what kind of punishment Sev should give him. I think that he's already punished himself. Maybe take away his broom for awhile. I don't know if that would be too harsh though, considering that the boy is already feeling so badly.

I know Sev will do what he thinks is fair.

Hurry and update, I want to see if Rosie and Mia are going to be ok, and Harry, gulp, too!

Author's Response: You're right, Harry is shredding himself over this and hopefully Severus will realize this . . .he knows his son by now.  Thanks for reviewing!

Really, I don't think Sev needs to do anything with Harry. It's obvious that Harry will be more responsible about watching children in the future. He didn't realize what could happen if he didn't pay attention--now he knows and his guilt complex isn't going to let it go. I think he's learned his lesson.

Great chapter--Snape was really mean, but I would expect that under stress. Please update soon!

    Author's Response:

Yes, Severus was a bit harsh, but he was in shock, and that's how he reacts sometimes.

As for Harry, he will bear the guilt for this for a long time, and you'll see what happens between him and Sev next chapter

personally i think it should be leniant....what ever he chooses...he's learned his lesson.

    great story by the way!

Author's Response: yes, he certainly has, Sev will take that into account when he issues his decree too. Thanks, Amy!
