Reviews For A Jar of Dead Cockroaches
Severus did an adamant job of protesting, but in the end Dumbledore's decision is final. I'm glad that you made him have real reasons for wanting Harry to recover with Severus, rather then just having the Headmaster dump the kid on him 'because'. I really feel for the Potions Professor though. At first his protesting was funny, but towards the end I felt sympathy. Poor guy, it was heartbreaking to hear him worry over ‘failing Lily again’. I wish the guy luck in his task, it sure will be a tiresome and troubling experience. Both for him, and Harry. As for Sirius... No one would blame the guy if he just ran off screaming into the night after what he witnessed xP. There's only so much crazy-ness a guy can take in one day after all… Author's Response: Haha! I know, Sirius is already unstable as it is, at the moment he probably perfers to go back to Akzabam. =P Yes, stories of Dumbledore just throwing Harry at Severus can be a bit unrealistic, but since Albus is gone, who else is going to care for Harry? *sigh* Severus is in for a hell of a ride. His protesting was meant to get giggles but there are two sides of that man that just make you go "awww" I give him luck 2, he's going to need it. Thankyou for commenting and reading, more to come soon! ~CLovergirl22
Author's Response: Thankyou for the review =) It's important that Snape slowly changes throughout this, he can be hard to write at times. As for CP in the story, I really don't see it myself at the moment, nor suicide theme or anything. I'lll take it off when I know for sure but I do agree with you. Thankyou again! More to come soon ~Clovergirl22
Good luck Sevvie! I'm glad to see that Severus is questioning his judgement concerning Harry; it will lead the way hopefully, to them reaching an understanding. Still enjoying your story, and looking forward to your next update! Author's Response: Thanks for the review =) Severus is going to need all the luck he can get! And as for the understanding between the two goes, well where there is a will there is a way (let's just get to the "will" part first lol) ~Clovergirl22
Dumbledore knows, of course, that Harry only trusts Snape right now, so of course he's the only logical choice to look after him. And maybe that will help Snape heal from his guilt in failing Lily and also hurting Harry. Oh, and in order to add the warnings and such you need to click on the edit button on the story profile and use the Control button when you come to something you'd like to add, and then left click the mouse and it should highlight it blue. Make sure you hold down the CTRL button and then left click the mouse to highlight. It's a little tricky, but you'll get the hang of it eventually. Author's Response: Yup, Dumbledore knows Harry only trust Snape at moment, is has to be him. AS for Sev, he is slowly coming to feel bad for what he did to Harry, even though he doesn't really know it yet. Thankyou about the warning tid-bit. I'll try it out as soon as I get home from school today. Thanks! ~Clovergirl22
I enjoy your writing style. There are only a couple of other writers who describe small details so well, that you can imagine yourself there, and that is a rare gift. Author's Response: Thankyou for the lovely review =) it makes me happy to hear that, I do love my details! Thankgoodness Sev is feeling 'something' towards this whole ideal. More is to come soon! ~Clovergirl22
Author's Response: thankyou for the review, nd maybe! ~Clovergirl22
He's lucky he didn't cause Harry to go catonic or something screaming that way. Somebody give the guy a Calming Draught and maybe even a muzzle. I feel bad for remus always having to ride herd on Sirius too. he needs a break, poor guy. Author's Response: Yes, Sirius is a bit highstrung for his own good, and two thumbs up for Remus trying to calm the guy down. Thanks for the review! ~Clovergirl22
I'm really enjoying this story. Nice work. Author's Response: Yes, and ironic as well. Thankyou for the review more to come! ~Clovergirl22
I'm sure that I've missed reviewing some chapters, but I'll recitify that, I promise. This story is great, and I love snarky Snape. But he's got a heart under all those prickly thorns. I loved it. Keep up the great work. Author's Response: Yup he does =) thanks for the review! ~Clovergirl22
A lot of questions - but I'm sure your story will answer quite a few of them! I'm looking forward to your updates! Author's Response: It's okay, I don't mind questions =) well, that does make a lot of sense really, but you'll see Snape change a small bit each chapter until he can't deny what he done. AS for Dumbledore, I like to just think he has "a feeling" about what the real story is, so you'll just have 2 find out! Updating soon~! thanks for reviewing~! ~Clovergirl22 |
