Reviews For Life as Dictated by a Talking Hat
ps i love your story it one of the bestiv read! Author's Response: Corporal punishment is likely to become an element of this story, but not for at least a couple of chapters. I'm glad you like the story, and thanks for the review!
Well done :) Author's Response: Yey!! Glad you like it!! I'm working on getting the next chapter out, but it might be a couple days. :-) Thanks for the review!
Seriously, though. :D I keep checking every 5 seconds to see if you've updated. And I'm starting to get tired of it. So I'll reread it, to pass the time by. But... yeah. (: Author's Response: LOL working on it. I know I used to post like every 4 days but things've gotten a little harder, is all. Don't worry - it'll be up within the week. LOL I'm glad you're rereading it - I've edited a bunch of things since I first wrote. (Nothing major, but some real improvements.) :)
Author's Response: Yey!! I'm glad you like it!! Thanks for the review!! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks!!! I'm glad you like it!! LOL thanks for the review. I'm sorry that I kept you up (sorta sorry anyway - I'm mostly flattered.) Kudos for helping out at your church. :0)
here have some taffy. -hands- "This could be fun. Thought Harry." THIS DEPRESSED YOUU? it ends geniusly. I shall read it again. you should update...now.. Author's Response: LOL thanks for the taffy, and the review. The ending didn't depress me at all, just the conversation beforehand with Snape, when Harry tells Sev that he lied to his teacher about the abuse. But no, the 'this could be fun' made me happy, too. Hehehehehehehe. :0)
What is Sinestra's problem with Harry? I am sure she must have started the war between them. HArry can be a foul little brat, but it's usually in retaliation for some slight or other. And I do wonder when Severus (and DD) are going to become suspicious of Quirrell. Is there a Philosopher's stone that the man is after? Great chapter as usual, though you did not address the question of where Percy Weasley had been when Harry was impersonating him. And I just loved this line...'Well that was...articulate. “I apologize, Mr. Potter, but I do not speak idiot. Try again.”' Lesley~ Author's Response: Hey, Lesley! As to your questions, I'm working on getting Harry to warm up to Sev, but I'm limited by the pace I've set. We're not even to Halloween yet (hence no info about Quirrel yet) and Harry's only known Sev for like a month and a half. I'm also trying to work (a little bit) with canon Harry, figuring that his treatment is different, but he's still the same guy genetically. It is common for children to protect abusive family members, whether or not they'll admit to disliking them. I cannot imagine Harry wanting them dead, and he is well aware that that is a possibility when Snape is involved. Thanks for the reminders about Sinestra and Percy. I'll work on getting explanations into the next chapter. I'm glad you liked this one. :-) |
