Reviews For Life as Dictated by a Talking Hat
“I don't know, Professor. Couldn't it also be said that Malfoy is showing too much skin?” “More like Harry is showing too much of Malfoy's skin...” LOL! The more I read, the more I love this. ^^ Great chapter - can't wait to see Malfoy's next move.
Harry's life's never easy is it, poor thing... which reminds me, something Vernon said in the memory last chapter makes me wonder just how far he's gone with Harry... I have a feeling Harry wouldnt have quite so much backbone if he had done what I was wondering but it's possible I suppose... I love the little interlude with Malfoy too, very cute how you've done that ^^ (glad to see someone finally putting into words the fact that no matter how far they go with each other it's still rather petty) And I love McGonagall in this too - stands to reason she'd leave Sev as a Gryff for as long as possible ^^ Cant wait for more - no doubt Harry will find some way to get into more trouble... looking forward to it ^^ Author's Response: Hey, you! LOL yeah, I write a ton. Like all my free time, and some time that OUGHT to be dedicated to doing homework and studying for exams. That's okay, though. I really, really enjoy it, so I don't feel too bad. About Vernon - no. I realize what you might have thought I was implying, and no. I'm not gonna go there. Glad you like the bit with Malfoy. I enjoyed writing it. I've always felt like somebody needed to smack the two of them and point out how dumb their little rivalry was, especially when it turned into something real. I mean, who lets a childhood grudge go THAT FAR?? LOL I'm glad you liked McGonagall, too. I just figured that'd be the type of prank that she would enjoy. Thanks for the review!! Hope you enjoy/enjoyed the most recent chapter! (I was dumb and forgot to respond to reviews before posting the new stuff.)
Author's Response: Yey! Glad you like, and yeah, things are speeding up a bit, now. Thanks for the review!!
I was like she CAN'T have updated already... SHE HAS? WHAT? (you can tell i check my favorite fics a little too often). Love the Legili-majig, and occlu-whatsit talk. Excited to see what you make of the troll in the dungeons. Also like Harry being calm/funny about Malfoy and not making it that epic omfg kind of thing. Anyways. I still love it and shall stick with it as long as you write it :). Author's Response: Yey! Glad you like!! :0) And I'll try to keep updating promptly. I know a couple of updates in there were real slow. But now I'm almost to break...
Author's Response: Yey! Glad you like!! Thanks for the review!!
Author's Response: LOL if I had continued this chapter it would have been a 32-page-chapter. That's nuts. Hope you like the next chapter, (it's up!) and thanks for the review!
Author's Response: LOL yey glad you like! And thrilled you like my character. :0) Thanks for the review!!
Great chapter! Author's Response: LOL glad you like, and hope you enjoy/enjoyed the latest chapter, since I was an idiot and didn't respond to reviews before posting it. :0) Thanks for the review!!
But, maybe the troll will whack Harry in the head and give him a new personality before he ends up (gee, let me guess) mouthing off sarcastically or giving some insincere BS to Snape when the teachers find them. Oooh, I'm rooting for the troll. Author's Response: I'm sorry you feel this way, and hope you enjoy the next chapter more. Do keep in mind that despite the fact that it has been 23 chapters, it has only been 2 months in "real time". Moving much faster than this would be unrealistic, in my opinion. Also, I don't see Harry's behavior the same way you do. Yes, he gets in fights, but Draco is as likely to start them as he is. And his behavior would be 'marauderish' if he were Snape's age or older, but Snape is well able to defend himself, and Harry feels that he is the one under attack. Still, I hope you continue to read the fic, and begin to enjoy it more again. Nobody gets all positive reviews all the time, and yours is at least polite. |
