Oh, I love it! I have to admit, my favorite line was that the Dursley's "have to die". I am so glad for Sev and Harry.

seriously, though, great chpater. great story. loved the thing with the door and the witty reference to drunk!snape and the list. (that is this fic, isn't it? i hope i'm not getting you confused with someone else . . .) i'm consistently amazed at your ability to make me laugh and cry within a few lines of each other if not simultaneously. i'm kind of sad that this fic is basically done, but i reaaaaaaally want to see what happens next in "outcast alley", so i'm kind of okay with it.
also, this is probably my favorite ever abused!harry. i love that he's mischevious and terrible and hartbreaking and stubborn and childish and brilliant and terrifying all at the same time. bravo.

Good chapter. Finally knocking some sense into Harry!
I understand why Severus felt the need to tell Harry about his role when it came to the deaths of Lily and James and am totally unsurprised by Harry's reaction. I am really happy that Severus finally told Harry how he feels and that he wants to adopt him. He has finally given Harry the one thing he truly wants, a family that loves him.
YOU CANNOT LEAVE IT THERE, THERE HAS TO BE MORE TO IT. IT STILL SAYS TO BE CONTINUED. YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE YOU HAVE TO YOU HAVE TO. THIS STORY IS JUST TOO DAMN AWESOME. PLEASE LET THERE BE AN EPILOGUE. :D

Great chapter. You've done an excellent job of keeping both Harry and Snape in your particular version of their characters throughout the entire story. And given the changes they both go through, that's quite an achievement.
