Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you. When I was walking down the corridor at school just before I graduated, I heard my boots echo and I seriously thought I was in Malfoy's dungeon. Making people feel like they're them (and sort of just watching all this happen around them) is really important to me because that's what I love to feel as a reader. And foreshadowing, foreshadowing with Draco. But don't say I told you. :P (I was worried people wouldn't get that as it's rather hard for me.) Thank you muchly for the review!
I'm looking forward to reading more of this story. Author's Response: Yeah, I do LOTR RR's that are angsty, but I've really never done any actual stories on my own. I've always had a hard time with writing plot because I'd sort of go everywhere and never get anywhere. (If that makes sense.) So, I'm rather nervous to be doing this. I blame my roleplaying for teaching me how to do plots, as well as learning the subtlety of vernacular and language. (And I've come to overly love implied violence rather than overt, it's so much more fun to describe what stuff looks like than try to figure out how to say what's going on and just leave that to the imagination of the reader.) And I'm horribly verbose, but thank you so much for the review! It makes me feel like I'm headed in the right direction! |
