That was a brilliant story! I love to find stories with unusual circumstances. I think I have only ever seen one other story where Harry was a Hufflepuff. It is also quite rare to find a story in which ether Neville or Hermione are well developed, and even rarer to find on in which both are featured so beautifully.

I love the relationship you created for Severus and Voldemort. The idea that he was born evil and therefore should have been killed at birth has always bothered me as well. While his reformation and transformation in the end were a bit too radical and perfect for me, it didn't ruin the story.

The plot seemed a bit rushed to me. I would have preferred that it developed over several years. Part way through first year just seems a bit too soon to me. The final chapter also seemed a bit rushed in that twenty year were condensed into one chapter.

Overall this is a very well written, well thought out fanfiction and I am glad that I read it. I just wish it was a few dozen chapters longer. ;)

Your fiction makes me want to laugh, cry and violently stab myself in the eye, alternately or, sometimes, at once. Because one moment I think "This rings so true, I would so write the same thing, had I a half of her talent and whatnot", and the next moment it's like "Oh my freaking god, the characters can't really be doing that, can they??" Well.. it's not necessarily a bad thing, but at times readers might wish for more balance. Keep up good work =)
