Reviews For My Enemy's Enemy
I vote in favor of longer chapters with a longer wait. However, please do continue with the tiny succinct synopsis of the previous chapter; it's very helpful, particularly with long interim waits. Author's Response: Worth knowing the little synopsis is helpful, I know I can get a bit muddled myself and forget what's happening, particularly after a longish wait between chapters... Trouble *does* just seem to follow Harry round, so we will have to see... Thanks loads for your review :)

Author's Response: You're right, it should be Filch- not sure where that came from! Well, I will see what happens and perhaps go for a middle ground... The cliffy point it interesting. I always try to have a chapter add something to the story and leave an idea of where things might go next. Sometimes people have said my chapters end in a cliffy when I haven't seen them as being that way at all. However I can't deny the last one *was* a cliffy and I do understand too many might get annoying. I will bear it in mind...

Oooh, I don't even know what to think. Harry's plans never go as well for him as he wishes or thinks they will. Something will go wrong. I wonder though if Sirius really is alive... should be interesting to find out! Keep up the awesome work! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes I know, long gaps aren't the best thing in the world for any fic. No, Harry's not got the best of luck, has he? We'll have to wait and see about Sirius...

afb means "away from book." it's an older acronym, might not be used as much now. Author's Response: Ah! I'm always interested to learn new acronyms. Was actually pretty obvious now you say it. Doh. Personally I'm with you re the long chapters but got a pretty mixed response so will have to see what happens :)
I'm nervous about this. What if it's not Sirius,the black dog, and it has something to do with Voldie! Great chappie. Don't worry about it being shorter than usual. I'm stuck in writer's block as well, and it's not fun. When you write anything, best to get it off, and concentrate on the next chappie. You did great though!! Author's Response: Yes fingers crossed for poor Harry... Things never tend to go to smoothly for him do they? Ah writer's block is horrible. One thing I used to do for essays, when I literally could end up staring at the screen for ages cos I didn't know what to say, was start typing anything even if it's rubbish. You can always go back later and delete or rewrite bits but I'm sure the vast majority of it will be really good! Sometimes you just need to force yourself to get started if you know what I mean. Fingers crossed that you stop being stuck soon anyway. Thanks for reviewing, it's much appreciated as always. |
