Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Author's Response: A new chapter should be up very soon. ;)
Author's Response: As far as Harry's appearance goes, it'll play a part in the storyline. We're a bit far from that point, but be reassured I haven't forgotten about that. Thanks!
Author's Response: The horcrux is definitely going to be an interesting thing for Harry. I haven't decided yet how big of part it'll play in Harry's everyday life, but I have a feeling it'll refuse to be ignored. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter explore more of Harry's caution towards adults since that'll definitely not be something that'll change overnight for Harry.
Author's Response: Thanks! Now that Harry is off chemo for a bit we'll see if they continue to get along.
Oh what a horrible break; for Harry to have that Horcrux inside of him. I really hope that Severus can find a way to get rid of the Horcrux without hurting Harry in any way. Author's Response: I don't think Severus will fully be able to rest until he's found a way to deal with the horcrux. I'm sure one day they'll be comfortable around each other, but it'll definitely take time. Thanks!
Author's Response: Funny that you mention the two of them clashing. The next chapter Harry has a bit more energy and they don't always see eye to eye on everything. Thanks!
That's interesting about the Horcrux. Maybe some good will come out of this bad situation. Ha, yeah they were both vulnerable in this chapter. :-D It's good of Severus to mention that if Harry hasn't grown at the conclusion of his cancer treatment, they could talk about using growth potions. That shows that Severus cares about the "small" things too. "How much could one child handle without breaking? Harry kept testing the limits, and each time Severus grew more worried that one more thing would send his child over the edge." like Severus, I wonder what will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I'm glad that they are talking about personal things as well (the cupboard and other things about the horrid Dursley's.) I loved the last line, ""Not yet, but I think I'm getting there."" Very powerful :-D Author's Response: Thanks, aut! There'll definitely be a "straw that breaks the camel's back" but we're not there yet. This next chapter I'd say is an emotionally turbulent one. Not necessarily in a bad way but since it was written over the course of a few months it reflects my varied moods.
thanks for the update. V. Author's Response: Imagine a standard parasitic medication could get rid of the horcrux in Harry. That's so simple it would be hilarious. lol. Thanks!
I had to get drugged up for a surgery last Friday, and I was like, "Sleep..." the rest of the day... How does Harry do it! Another good chapter. I like how long it's taking Harry to deal with the fact that Severus is his father. Again, great chapter. I cannot wait for the next one. Author's Response: Thanks! Harry can't sleep 24/7 so although he's rather drugged up there's times he has some energy. It's definitely taking time for him to deal with the fact Severus is his father, and the next chapter explores that a bit more. |
