Wow! that was awesome.
Your story took me by surprise, it wasn't one of those sickly sweet stories that you read so often, Snape stayed in character and there was even an explanation for his more humane treatment of those around him and I think this is one of my new favourites.
I have often wondered why Poppy stayed silent and how difficult it must have been for her - thank you

I understand how poppy felt, I work with kids too! I am so glad Snape took Harry and I love how ron and hermione handled harry,esp ron. Would love more!

I really liked Ron in this. I thought he was sweet. He often gets a rough deal in fanfiction, but he was a good friend, and you really captured that. And this was a lovely little story, so thanks for writing it.
Aww. I so understand you about ideas that won't leave one alone. And this one was very touching.
